The room was great, large and just what we needed. Food for dinner was fantastic, breakfast was good. Spa was also lovely, slightly dated now especially in the changing rooms but still great to use. Would definitely stay again for the price and location. With a bit of modernisation it could be a really impressive hotel and spa.
The bathroom was quite dated with a shower curtain which was far too big for the bath. The shower wasn't the best and was coming off the wall but it was all working which was good.

Breakfast was included and was very nice. The restaurant was very good.
The music playlist in the restaurant was a wee bit annoying.

Everything . Perfect location . Dana who greeted us was such a lovely guy. Very helpful. A great personality & couldn’t do enough for us. The room Aa gorgeous with Great Lake views.
The spa, sauna & swimming pool were immaculate. Great size pool & once again tte staff were so lovely.
The restaurants & bars were beautiful & the food was amazing. Fir us the best hotel in tye Lake District . Already booked again for my birthday next year.

Large room comfy bed and linen
scratched furniture stain on bed lamp shade and some mould in the bathroom sealant shower stream weak but warm, breakfast was very poor the bacon was cold and it looked like it had been boiled not fried or grilled same goes for the sausages and the eggs were piled up in a tin box very little care was taken with the cooked food the part of breakfast that didn't need much effort cereal etc was what it is
