The Mountaineer Sleeps 10 Bedrooms: 4 Bathrooms: 4 Bedroom 1: King bed Bedroom 2: Queen bed Bedroom 3: Queen bed Bedroom 4: Four twin beds (2 bunk beds) Year round community heated outdoor pool & hot tub - *Please check with us if you are staying April-May or September-November to be sure the pool and hot tubs are operational during your stay if this is an important part of your vacation. They occasionally are closed for a seasonal cleaning etc. Gas grill Walk to gondola/base area skiing, restaurants, pubs, shopping & more Complementary looping ski shuttle to ski mountain from 7:30am-5pm (winter only *Ends 4/31/24) maintained by the HOA. A block from the free bus route High Speed WiFi Cable TV Washer and dryer in unit 2 Car heated Garage (depending on size of the vehicles) - one to two parking spaces in the garage and one parking space on the heated driveway. RVs, campers, trailers, etc are not allowed to be parked on the driveway or street per the neighborhood HOA. Ski storage in garage No Smoking or Pets Allowed The Mountaineer provides guests a luxurious mountain lodge feel in an incredible Steamboat location. Even though you are walking distance to the resort base area, this spacious, three-level, 2,694 sq. ft. duplex offers guests a private, tranquil setting with mature aspen and pine trees, just off the beaten path, and lives more like a home. Beautifully designed log and stone exteriors present a fantastic reception for your arrival. Enter the home on the bottom level, either through the front door or attached two car garage. On the 2nd level is a spacious, open concept great room featuring knotty pine logs and railings, vaulted ceilings, mountain style doors, trim and cabinetry, a gas log fireplace with rock detailing, a large flat screen TV and comfortable, leather seating options including a sofa and two large chairs. The updated kitchen is fully equipped with everything you would need for cooking a meal and offers gorgeous granite counters, brand new slate finish appliances and mountain-style wood cabinetry. The large dining table right off the kitchen has 8 chairs and there are 3 bar stools at the kitchen counter. Off the living area is deck with great mountain views, seating and a gas grill. Four bedroom en suites are dispersed on all three levels and ensure plenty of space and privacy for your group. The master is on its own upper level, has beautiful ski area views, a private balcony, gas log fireplace, flat screen TV, and a large walk in closet. The master bath is extremely large and has two sinks, a large separate soaking tub and walk in shower. There is a nice sitting area outside the master bedroom that also has great mountain and sunset views. Then main level en suite has a queen bed. Its bathroom has a walk in shower and direct access from both the bedroom and the living area. The bottom level includes another queen en suite, with a tub shower combo and the bunk room en suite offering a walk in shower. There is a washer and dryer in the unit for your convenience. The community, outdoor heated swimming pool and hot tub are just a few doors down and there is a seasonal shuttle in winter that comes right to your door. Most mountain residences, including this property, do not have air conditioning. Fans are provided for your comfort. The city houses two ski areas – Steamboat and Howelsen Hill, Colorado's oldest continuously operated ski area. Or simply play in the smooth, dry snow, referred to as Champagne Powder, for which Steamboat is known. Mountain biking is huge in Steamboat. Known as Bike Town USA, the city has trails for all ages and skill levels. Hundreds of miles of single track, as well as over 50 miles of downhill and freeride terrain. ** In March 2020 when the resort shut down, we gave refunds for any unused nights and would do that again.

This home in Steamboat exceeded our expectations. Our company marketing team was in town as a sponsor of a local cycling event and this beautiful home checked all of the boxes. It was very clean, and with bedrooms on 3 floors, there was plenty of space and privacy for everyone. The neighborhood was very quiet and the amenities inside the home and on the property were perfect. I will definitely come back again to bring my family here for a Steamboat Get-Away!

We stayed here for my parents 50th anniversary. There were 3 couples and three children (11,7,5) and it was perfect. Everyone had their own room and bathroom which was a big bonus. The pool is right across the street and there is parking for two cars. The house is very well stocked with kitchen and laundry accessories and we played many of the games in the house. As others mentioned, there are neighbors who live there permanently and they will not hesitate to give feedback. When responding with kindness there were no issues. There are a lot of steps inside the home so for those with mobility issues, this may be a challenge and no AC. I imagine the AC wouldn’t be needed much but it was a bit warm in the evenings before bed. Several fans were available which helped. Overall, we would definitely stay here again. The property team were super responsive and helpful.

The pictures don't do this place justice. Much larger than you expect and perfect for a group of adults or families. We accidentally put the fireplace out and the management company was super quick to respond and fix it. Would recommend

We book a ski house with a group of friends each year, and this home was perfect for our long weekend! We enjoyed the spacious rooms, heated floors and equipped kitchen. It was also a huge treat to have a bathroom with each bedroom! We used the community hot tub which was amazing after a day on the slopes. The VIP shuttle to/from the gondola was very convenient. Also, the stop for the free bus to town was a short walk away. I highly recommend this home for large groups or families!

Group of us rented the house, the shuttle system throughout the town was awesome and picks up and drops off at the front door. Plenty of room, clean, and really easy communication with the host, who get back to you very fast with any questions.

Well furnished. Tons of space. Great location. Easy check in. Highly recommended. We have stayed in numerous units in Steamboat over the years and this place is right at the top of the list. Beware the older couple that have appointed themselves as the pool police for the property. Here’s an idea. Don’t live in the touristy part of Steamboat if you don’t like tourists. Plus, I’ve lived in Colorado far longer than you, so just go back to Texas if you don’t like the crowd.

We had the most amazing trip. Thanks to itrip all of our needs were met plus more. The home is spectacular and more than enough room for our group of 10. We did have an issue with a neighbor because we had smaller kids 10 and 13 in the pool allday but they handled that very well too. We will definitely book with itrip from now on for all our vacations
