Breakfast was very nice but a cat was always present
Fly screens were missing and I was bitten severely. I also think I contracted scabies

It has a home vibe that I find adorable, the cute cat is a plus.
it's a little far from the center if you walk, but it's ok if you use the vaporetto, a vaporetto stop is really close.

Location fantastic, next door to fondament nove vaparettos and a short walk to St Marks Square. Lovely genial staff and a very pretty garden
I would say perfect for summer but unless they open up the lounge areas and dining room in the evening, don't use after September. Common areas in the hotel were locked after 4.00pm meaning the only social space for guests was the garden. Its cold in the evenings by October. Wrapped in blankets the garden was possible, but it was dominated by smokers. As a hotel we would expect lounge or lobby areas. It also meant you could not access the kettle to make an evening drink, and there are no kettles in the room. The pillows were very hard, and on the second day most of our towels were removed from the room and were not replaced. As above the staff were very kind in person, but were not often available after 4.00pm.
