The apartment with kitchen was enormous and at 50m from the sea and the roof top is ideal to take sunset pictures
The kitchen / glasses could have been cleaner but this was only a minor detail

I had an amazing stay at Casa Astral Holbox. The highlight was definitely the stunning rooftop pool—perfect for enjoying breathtaking sunsets while sipping on delicious drinks. The service was excellent throughout my stay, with a team that made everything feel effortless and welcoming.
The location is truly unbeatable, right on the oceanfront with a beautiful beach just steps away. It’s the perfect place to relax, unwind, and soak in the natural beauty of Holbox. I would absolutely come back!

The best aspect of this hotel is definitely the roof top pool! it had nice lounging areas & hammocks! it was a very relaxing place- the views were very good.
- no access to beach loungers
- no ice water available- just warm tepid water- and 1 small container
- no elevator- can be a big issue for people with mobility issues
- rooms are fair but the bed has a surrounding edge of cement that juts out around the bed- husband banged his legs constantly- drawing blood each time
- it is not a 4 star hotel- it’s more like a 3- we paid over $200 a night - which isn’t usually an issue but in this case we felt we overpaid for a bunch of nothing in return
- the rooms facing the street should definitely be discounted as they are a huge disappointment- especially when you have paid and requested a sea view
- the staff, especially the young man at front desk, was very skilled and great at his job- very helpful & has great people skills.
