This is a private, upstairs 2bd/1ba apartment above our home, located in the beautiful neighborhood of Overlook Park. The space is furnished with everything you'll need to enjoy your stay in Portland, including AC/Heating. We are near some amazing restaurants and shops in neighborhoods like Alberta Arts District, Killingsworth Street, St. Johns and Mississippi Avenue. It's a 10 minute drive across the bridge to beautiful downtown Portland and we're also a short 8 minute drive to MODA Center if you're attending any kind of event.

We had a great 6 day stay in this lovely apartment. The neighborhood was very nice and in a good location within the city. The kitchen is well stocked, we had everything we needed to cook several meals during our stay. The house was very clean and the beds comfortable. Minor issues: The thermostat did not seem to be working correctly, it was registering a very low temp even when the apartment was quite warm, and it took a very long time to heat the apartment up when we got there. The path to the apartment can get very dark. There are sensor lights but it still seemed dark going up or down the stairs at times. It was raining most of the time we were there (of course) and it would have been nice to have some sort of swiffer mop to clean the floors. Again these were miner issues and did not get in the way of us having a great time and would definitely stay there again.

This was a lovely property in a great location. My teenage daughter and I loved it! Five stars and we will come back again -- highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time at this apartment. It was exactly as described and the communication with Jim and Stephanie was excellent and timely. It is in a lovely older neighborhood with great character. Easy to get to downtown. Nice places to eat just a short walk. Will definitely be staying here again on our next visit to Portland.

Overlook Park is a perfect location for visits to Portland, OR. The property was exactly as described. Incredible views from the apt. windows. Very comfortable, very clean, well stocked. Highly recommended! The only nit I can pick is that the city trash cans aren't labeled, so we had to ask neighbors walking by which can was for what kind of trash - but that is a minor, minor deal.

From the very start of the booking, Jim and Stephanie were incredibly helpful and kind. When VRBO wasn’t working they reached out and sent me the check in information before I even thought to ask. Upon arrival their house was spotless, comfortable and welcoming! I had a question about the air conditioning and received a response back from them within minutes! The beds are incredibly comfortable, the water pressure in the shower was wonderful, and the views were stunning. Everything we needed and more was there. They even reached out to wish me a happy birthday. I highly recommend staying here! We spent an entire week and felt right at home! Thanks again!

The Overlook Hideaway is perfection. Quiet neighborhood with an incredible view of Portland day & night. The apartment is intimate yet spacious with outdoor spaces. The owner is on top of it with amenities plus & and lightening fast communication. Just a short 5 min walk to public transportation & entertainment. You will leave wanting more!

The unit was clean, well-appointed, and centrally-located for visiting various PDX neighborhoods. Jim and Stephanie were easy to reach. We had to adjust a little to accommodate the quiet hours (our teens usually shower at night) but it was well worth it.

We had a wonderful time in the Portland area in this cozy retreat. Very close to airport, the town, restaurants and just walking around the neighborhood of charming houses and gardens. It was just perfect for our stay.

The apartment was as good, if not better than advertised. Clean and well appointed. The kitchen was top notch, the beds were super comfortable and, little detail but I loved the shower (great water pressure). It was such a comfortable place to stay and come back to at the end of the day. Peek-a-boo views overlooking the River from a few spots. Neighborhood was nice and quiet, but short drive from lots of things. Owners were great at communication and very friendly and really pay attention to the little details about the place. Would happily stay there again. Absolutely nothing but positives about experience there.

Perfect little "nook" in the lovely Overlook neighborhood! The apartment was well supplied, spotless, the linens fun and fabulous and we enjoyed the deck and the blooming lilacs. Jim and Stephanie were a joy to deal with! I've already made my reservation to return in November.

Very modern, homey and comfortable, we had 4 adults and it worked out great. Owners had everything we needed plus many little extras that we didn't have to go out and purchase. Was within walking distance to public transportation and quaint shopping area with bakeries and restaurants. Our grown daughter and husband worked at and attended the Specialty Coffee Expo and were able to get to the convention center easily by public transportation. We really enjoyed our stay, thank you!

Absolutely love this unit. There is an incredible view of the river and Portland city skyline. Yet unit located in a quiet neighborhood with darling old homes. The unit is very cozy, beautifully decorated and equipped with everything I needed. It is a solely spotless. It is located in an incredible neighborhood. I loved that the host provides plenty of a variety of coffee and creamers for the morning. I will stay on this unit when I return to Portland!

Had my family in town for 10 days and put them up here. Property was beautiful and in a really cool spot overlooking the river and the west side. Also really awesome owners who seemed to really care about our experience and communicated well. Really nice personal touches as well including remembering my brother’s birthday. Just lovely.

Great location, spotlessly clean, thoroughly stocked with all the essentials, and terrific owners. You really can't ask for anything more with this property. We have stayed here previously and both times it has been enjoyable and stress free from check in through check out. The owners obviously have pride in ownership and it definitely shows in the details. Its our go to spot when in Portland...we'll be back!

We were surprised when we pulled up to see how nice the houses on this street were. We were even more surprised when we walked into the property to see how much nicer it was in person than pics. It’s extremely roomy and comfortable. Very close to restaurants, bars and attractions but just far enough where you feel like you came “home” after a full day. The view from the master balcony was great at night! Very easy drive to airport as well.

The overlook apartment was perfect for our weekend in Portland! It was clean and spacious with a fully equipped kitchen & comfortable bedrooms. Very easy check in with parking right in the homes driveway. The apartment also had a private and lovely outdoor deck. As for location, the home was close to city center and walking distance to bars on Mississippi avenue. Would recommend staying here 100%!

Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood with beautiful view of downtown. Spacious apartment with plenty of room for the four of us. Plenty of amenities and bedding. One of the best places we’ve ever stayed on VRBO.

Quiet, clean, attractive accommodations. We did not have a car and the light rail station was a 5 minute walk from the apt. We were able to use the light rail to get everywhere we wanted to go in Portland. Owners were very responsive .
