Settle in either the master bedroom or the bunk room, whichever you prefer! For extra comfort, the sofa converts to a queen pullout for additional sleeping space. Quiet and peaceful views are available from both and the patio is spectacular! The kitchen has a small dining area for sit down meals and a coffee bar nook beside it! Create your favorite meal and chow down - a hearty meal is always the mark of a great outdoor adventure. Grab your favorite book and drink and step out into the fresh mountain air. The outside lounge chairs provide solace and escape from city life. Simply cross the street and hop on the town shuttle - no driving required! Take a short walk in the meadow behind the complex and stroll into our local Mammoth's Lakes Recreation Center- coming soon! Exit the area and you are already at Distant Brewing, Mammoth Rock & Bowl, Vons, & much much more. Don't forget to take advantage and have a stress-free evening soak before a good night's rest! The condo was in a quiet complex near biking and walking trails. We walked to the LA Kings complex for ice skating, it’s a 2 minute drive to Vons, just about 10 minutes to tubing area and Mammoth Mountain. There are great restaurants close by. It was a great place to stay

This unit was very nice. It was our first time in mammoth with our new pup and everything went well. I was worried it might be dirty or more worn being pet friendly but it was very clean and nice. Kids loved the bunk beds. My only suggestion for improvement would be to have the parking pass already printed for guests - we forgot ours in the printer at home. I’d stay in this unit again.

We had a great time. This was a perfect location for me, my husband, 4 year old daughter, and our dog. The bike trail along the creek is within walking distance. There’s a nearby bus stop, and the town is within walking distance if you’re down for a longer walk and the weather is good. The second bedroom’s bunk bed is perfect for kids. The kitchen is a little outdated, but perfectly functional and met all our needs. We cooked a few meals at home and found all the needed utensils. The community laundry room is across the parking lot next to the pool and spa. The only things we would suggest are maybe a few kid friendly additions, like a small stool for the bathrooms and some plastic cups. These are items you should consider bringing yourself if you have kids under 5 years old.

Overall the whole experience with Nomad rentals was mediocre. From multiple emails with information in bits of them vs a clear email with everything and still the apartment number was left out. Freezing cold apartment on check in. A fire place with no instructions on how to use we had to YouTube it. Location is ok still a Drive to the slips. It took several days and follow up for me to retrieve a personal item I left behind. I didn’t enjoy my stay which is disappointing.

We love the location of Tamarack, the cross country trails and restaurant. They lost power during our stay and having no electricity in a blizzard is a problem. Resorts should invest in generators for all of their guests. They should at the very least offer emergency alternatives like battery operated lights and meal packs. This isn’t new for them and they operate like it’s never happened.

Cute place but the noise from the condo above both nights was so loud that we couldn’t get a good night sleep. We ended up leaving a day and night early from our trip because we couldn’t sleep both nights due to the noise Told the rental manager about the first night but it still was an issue the second night Wouldn’t stay here again due to how noisy it was
