Room was clean,
Coffee and tea was also avaliable and clean towels, The breakfast the following morning was fantastic a great full english cooked fresh and a lovely latte, staff were very friendly.

So.This pub is in refurbishment mode and in my opinion shouldn’t be open to hotel customers.Room and beds o.k. Clean bedding etc.Shower not working and not fixed over weekend so had to use friends room also cold.No soap etc.No hanging wardrobe space at all.Kettle disgusting so didn’t use.
Breakfast adequate but no choice for anything other than fry up.( Gluten free bread but not convinced of x contamination.Service sporadic.
Outside space not safe due to scaffolding and ladders etc.
All in all cheap enough but not suitable until work completed.
To be fair,Matt did his best under difficult circumstances but would not recommend.
