We had already eaten dinner before we arrived but we had puddings which were delicious. We also had a lovely breakfast. All staff and the owner we met were really friendly and service was great.
A bit noisy (we could hear the people next door but that may have been because they were speaking very loudly). Tea bags could have been replaced overnight.

It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The shower was lovely and towels soft. The staff were friendly. It was very quiet.
It’s difficult to put your finger on it. Tiny things. No breakfast tea bags only herb ones It may have been other guests taking so therefore more put it please. There was no hand rail so I found it hard to go up and down stairs. By husbands first pint was unpleasant, flat. No apology but given another with ‘you wot be charged for second pint’. Dinner was ok. The pie and veg good, rest ok. I understand why we had to pay up front for breakfast but everything individually priced so how was I to know if t wanted juice or extra toast the night before. As I said little things. Ok for an overnight stay.
