Emar Hotel & Spa was beautiful inside and out. Free parking next to the building was very nice. Check-in at the Reception desk was friendly and pleasant. Special thanks to Alexander for creatively solving a problem I had storing a medical cold pack.
Our room presented us with beautiful vistas of the mountains on one side and the village below on the other side. Our room’s size, design, and finishes were of luxury quality. Beds felt new and comfortably firm but not too hard. We loved the rain shower and balcony as well. Everything was flawlessly maintained and 100% clean.
Dinner, included in our reservation, was served buffet style, but the truly superb quality and variety of the food options far exceeded any buffet meal I have had before! Example: there were about 8 different types of fresh and delicious salads. While I loved all of the food, their chicken soup (unmistakably made from scratch) was the best I've ever tasted (I ate three big bowls). Restaurant staff were there to assure customer satisfaction; it was a true pleasure to interact with them. These comments apply to breakfast too.
The spa area is comprised of outside and inside areas. Both were spacious, spotlessly clean, well lighted, and a pleasure to use. We spend hours in the various pools, saunas etc. We also booked massages (extra charge), which were outstanding and among the best I've ever received. Really liked that the hotel provides big fluffy white bathrobes and slippers to make it more comfortable for guests to navigate the spa area.
After dark we walked around the neighborhood for some exercise. It was peaceful, quiet, and very nice.
In summary, we are already talking about staying at Emar again in future!
There was a problem with the switch on their big jacuzzi. Surely it has already been fixed before you read this.

Room was clean, bed comfy, we had perfect view to mountains and over pool - relaxing atmosphere. Room had private balcony. Breakfast and dinner were very good, menu changing each day! We stayed 4 nights and never got bored of offered food. Always enough space for car to park in private parking lot.
Pool was large enough, we got lucky to enjoy almost always only us in it.
Location quite in middle to go by car to mountain hikes +/-1 hour drive away to all directions.
We saw on dinner/breakfast families with kids, but never heard them in night time - so the sound isolation was good too!
In the hotel do not let kids try Adventure shower - it was too hot even for adults. My husband was bit sunburn and getting "Adventure" shower on head was very uncomfortable for him.
The city itself - there was almost nothing to do at.
