Location ok but bedroom next to main road which was a bit noisy at times.
The hotel website advertise a breakfast menu and there was also a breakfast menu posted in the bar. Went down at 8am and the restaurant was locked with no one in sight. Didn’t even know what to do with the room key.

Good location in a small village near Oxford and dog friendly. The staff were lovely and the evening meal was really enjoyable.
No breakfast until 10.00 am on Saturday morning so we couldn’t have one. It would have been nice to have a cold, continental breakfast option. It is an old building with low beams in our room and despite the warnings I banged my head.

The room we were given had a bathroom that stank of stale urine. we questioned this and were given another room. This was better but at the top of some steep stairs. This was awkward for my disabled partner.. We were charged £25 extra for a one night stay because we had a dog with us.
Tried many many times to contact the place by phone and never had the phone answered. While it was an adequate place to stay, it needed some work in places to bring it up to scratch.J
