We stayed in a superior double room and it was lovely. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room overlooked Cracoe War memorial which was at the top of some rolling hills. The food in the pub was amazing. We had a gorgeous Sunday lunch & the breakfast was freshly cooked for us & again very tasty. The staff were friendly & accommodating. Lovely peaceful location in a quintessential country pub.
The only downside was the water pressure. We tried to run a bath as that particular room has a jacuzzi bath but the water pressure was so low it would have taken ages to fill.

Breakfast was excellent
Great location
Staff were pleasant
Felt the property was in need of updating, our room and outside rear garden looking rather tired
Areas within the property could do with a deep clean
The shower did not work at all in our room which we did bring to the attention of the owners
