This is one of the best hotels in Madrid. It's a great location right on the Gran Via. Lots of good restaurants and places for shopping nearby... and within easy walking distance to the museums and national palace. We'll certainly look forward to staying at Hotel Atlantico again.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Atlántico Madrid.
From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. We reached the hotel around noon and were pleasantly surprised that our room was already prepared, making check-in seamless and stress-free after our travels.
The location is truly outstanding. Situated right on Gran Vía, the hotel is within walking distance of many of Madrid’s main attractions, restaurants, shops, and public transportation. It was the perfect base for our two-night stay and allowed us to make the most of our time in the city.
One of the highlights was the breakfast offered at the hotel. At just €12 per person, it was an excellent value with a great selection of food. The breakfast area also offers beautiful views overlooking Gran Vía, making it a wonderful way to start the day.
The combination of exceptional location, efficient service, comfortable accommodations, and excellent breakfast made this a memorable stay. We would gladly stay here again on a future visit to Madrid.

I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Atlantico.
The hotel was clean, comfortable, and full of charm. Since it’s in an older building, it has a lot of character, which I really liked.
The room was on the smaller side—it was the hotel’s smallest room option—but honestly, it was still more spacious than many rooms you’d find in New York City and good for a solo traveler.
The location on Gran Vía was perfect. It’s a very busy, lively area, so if you’re looking for somewhere quiet, this probably isn’t the place for you. I chose it intentionally because wanted to be close to the shopping and everything the area has to offer, and it was very convenient to be able to pop back to the hotel during the day when a break was needed.
The rooftop terrace is another highlight, with great views and a lovely place to relax and take in the city.
Because the building is older, you can hear some noise like doors closing as the hallway is very narrow and the floors creaking. It wasn’t a big issue, but it’s worth keeping in mind if you’re a light sleeper.
Overall, I had a great stay and would definitely stay here again.
