It was my first time in Bacalar and i have to say this hotel exceeded my expectations. As soon as we reached the hotel, we were given refreshments and the staff quickly
checked us in and transferred our luggages to our room.
Our room was the highlight as it was overlooking the stunningly blue lagoon. The hotel and the surrounding area was peaceful. The hotel service and staff were exceptional - anything we needed fixing was fixed in less than 30 minutes.
The food - wow!! You have to try their menu atleast once. The portions were big which was great value for money. We spent most of our time in the hotel, lounging in the pool area and ordering drinks and food. The chefs are incredible as they explain each and every dish - you can tell how much thought has gone into preparing each dish.
I had an absolutely amazing time in Bacalar, and one of the main highlights was this hotel. Highly recommended. Thank you to the whole team!

Location was good for access to the lake and access to boat tour from adjacent site landing stage.
Room privacy was a problem being overlooked. Limited places to eat due to limited space of the hotel ground area.
Staff serving looked fed up. No fridge.
