Here you can take in one of the most breathtaking Smith Mountain Lake sunsets over the open cove and beach! Revel in the spectacular views from all three levels of this townhome with a walk-out deck or patio on each level. Sunset Cove is in the Waterways Community which offers a swimming pool (open seasonally from Memorial Day to Labor Day), tennis and basketball courts, a boat ramp, trailer storage, and a community beach! This townhouse is conveniently located to all local attractions and is incredibly close to the Smith Mountain Lake State Park. A new split air-conditioning system has been added to the upstairs area to make it more comfortable for guests. New flooring throughout the entire house better accommodates your pets. The main level, basement sitting room, and the bedroom TVs are conveniently set up with Roku. Sunset Cove provides three sleeping areas and three-and-a-half baths, making plenty of room for the entire family to join your vacation! On the entry level you will feel right at home with a well-equipped kitchen that is open to the dining room, living room, and half bath. The living room has abundant space for everyone to relax while also enjoying the view of the lake. Open the sliding glass doors right off the living room and let in the natural sunlight to brighten the space. Upstairs features a waterfront primary bedroom with a large bathroom with a standalone shower and soaking tub, and a private balcony to enjoy your morning coffee. The second upstairs bedroom also has a full-sized bathroom. The laundry completes the upper level. Downstairs showcases the third bedroom with a full-sized bathroom. The open entertainment area will be the hangout spot for your vacation crew, as it has a TV, large sofas, a bar area, and sliding glass doors that lead to the gas grill and beach. A covered boat slip with no lift is available by request (this vacation rental accommodates one boat only). Things to Know Max occupancy is four people over the age of two years old (county and state law). This property is managed by Vacasa Virginia LLC. Dock Details: Limit 1 boat can be docked during stay. MUST be in the boat slip marked for the unit. No exceptions. If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. Dock details: Limit 1 small boat can be docked during stay. MUST be in the boat slip marked for the unit. No exceptions. Pontoons NOT recommended. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation. Nice location, water activities near by and perfect weekend getaway! No food at house so bring your coffee/tea, also you have to throw trash to different place (10 mins away) afterwards which was little inconvenient.

The beautiful house has a great 3-level design. It feels new and well-cared for. Had everything we needed. The views from all three floors were stunning: wide-open lake views, and manicured lawns.

My adult kids and I spent a week here working remotely and enjoying the lake in our down time. It was a great townhouse and the lake and beach were super convenient for playing in the water. We would definitely stay here again if were come back to the area.

The house was perfect for our family vacation! Loved the option to bring a rented boat to the boat slip, and the lake was the best backdrop for our family portrait. The house was well stocked with kayaks and life jackets and all things fun for the lake. The house has the little beach directly in front of it which was perfect for my baby granddaughter. We can't wait to come again!

Lovey stay here. Very clean. 3.5 baths. A wet bar downstairs that makes it almost a self contained apartment with full bath, bedroom and wetbar. Third floor is the master bedroom with a jacuzzi tub if you like that and shower. Kids room on the third floor has two twin beds and a full bath. Kitchen is kind of randomly supplied with all the basics.

Easy access to the small beach, the dock, and to kayaking. Beautiful view of the sunset. Provided a small library of dvds, two games and lots of books. The kitchen had a small supply of strange wrap, foil, baggies and gadgets. The closet upstairs was stocked with extra pillows and blankets. There were wet suits and life jackets in the basement closet. The two balconies were relaxing to have coffee and tea.

The place was lovely. The rental company not so much. They promised me an early check in, but didn’t activate door code, so we couldn’t get in. I called rental company twice. They never returned call. They eventually changed code, but never called back. I think that would have been the courteous thing to do.

Overall, it was an amazing stay! We loved the location. The view of the lake and the easy access with the beach was so convenient. On our second day, we returned home and the AC on the main level was not working. We contacted the property manager and then left to go on a hike. We were very pleasantly surprised when we returned to find that it was fixed when we returned! The only negative I would say is that no paper products like paper towels were provided or even like a bar of soap. We brought everything we needed, but people should be prepared to bring everything-read all the details before booking. Overall though a very great stay! Thank you!!

Our experience was mostly good. The air conditioning was a little difficult to manage. We followed the suggestions and still the lower level was like a refrigerator. The instructions on the TVs throughout were very confusing. The TV on the lower living room area was the only one that made sense. Also, the trash removal instructions were beyond confusing. The instructions need to pertain to only that property, not for every possible property in the area. However, even with these snags, we had a great stay!!! Overall a great property but would suggest they address a few negative issues.

It was super hard to find a place with lakefront access that was dog-friendly but we found it! Absolutely loved this place. Quiet neighborhood and friendly neighbors. Easy to check in. We swam in the lake every day with my kid, and kayaked every afternoon. There's a boat slip too, if you have your own boat. There are wineries 15-45 min away and decent restaurant options. State Park is just up the road. Overall great extended-family vacation.

This is a lake front house with a beautiful view. It is well equipped, clean, and comfortable. It also came with board games that we enjoyed playing in the evening. The power was out the first day we arrived and it came back around 8:30 pm.
