The open plan living/dining/kitchen area provides ample space to relax and kick-back after a day in the city. In front of the living room, you have access to a charming balcony. The modern kitchen is fully equipped with everything that you might need to prepare meals. The apartment is also fully air-conditioned with heating in winter and comes with free wi-fi and smart tv. Arrived around 4:30PM and was met by friend of owner. Still cleaning apartment (was surprised as we were not early). Showed us where everything was and how to use the keys.
Beds were comfortable enough (we like a little softer) and the one bed in the back was more like a queen/king not double which was nice. Showers worked well. Do not expect a lot of amenities (Shampoo/lotion only) Plenty of Dishes although cups did not fit under coffee maker which uses pods (had to hold them at an angle). Knives need to be sharpened. Couch was a little low to the ground for us tall people but we made do. Bar stools were tiny metal ones. Place was close to lots of restaurants and shops to get food which was nice. Close to Metro and close to a taxi stand area which we had to make do with when the airport transportation we had ordered did not show up at 4:30AM. Plenty of room for 6 adults. The 3 bathrooms were almost the same. One Towel and One hand towel provided for each adult. Nice to have a washing machine on the ground floor. Be aware there are quite a few stairs you will need to cart luggage up to get the to 1st floor where you can then put the luggage into a lift. Will Only fit 2 people in the elevator at a time. We usually ended up walking the stairs (quite a few) to our floor since only 2 fit in the elevator. Not quite what we were expecting. Area can be a little loud at night but this did not bother us that much. Might others.

A wonderful experience and well organised property company. The staff were extremely helpful and kind with exemplary time keeping. The apartment was actually larger than expected, clean and well stocked with kitchen equipment (I cooked daily) and the beds were comfortable. The position within the City was excellent being easy to explore both by foot and Metro surrounded by a plethora of friendly restaurants supermarkets and bars. The stairs were challenging (2nd floor) but we used the internal lift for shopping and cases and the apartment felt safe and secure with two sets of keys which was invaluable travelling in a small group.
We visited the Sagrada Famillia, Aquarium, Las Ramblas, Shopping, Markets, Parc Guell, Cable Car, Beach, Restaurants and Bars and chilled sitting on the balcony, people watching! We found the people and workers of Barcelona friendly, helpful and offered a good service. We didn't experience any trouble (I've been pick-pocketed in Madrid on a previous visit!) over our 5 day trip and we found the Catalan language similar to French, which my husband is fluent in, therefore, translating menu's etc, was a little easier! Most people speak some English, so we didn't have a problem with communication. I would recommend this apartment and company to anybody wishing to explore this lovely and vibrant City. Thank you

Located in a well maintained, secure building, the apartment was fully stocked and had everything we needed for a comfortable vacation, including a laundry area with a dryer. There is plenty of room for a bigger family, and we really enjoyed the location, a moderate walk to everywhere we wanted to go as well as the metro. Eduard and Andreas were very responsive and easy to communicate with, we had a great experience with En Ville appartments.

Our family of 6 adults stayed in the En Ville apartments for 6 wonderful nights. The apartment was in a great location, close to a metro stop and many shops / bakeries. We really enjoyed our stay.
The apartment was clean, had a washer & dryer, and had a small balcony overlooking the street which we frequently used.
Eduard was very responsive both before and during our stay.
We would certainly stay there again if we ever get back to Barcelona.

Overall the apartment was fine. The online listing does not tell it is on the 3rd floor but at least there was an elevator one flight up. It was nice to have AC, as it can get really warm in Barcelona. Close to underground and a Michelin reasturant. Wish they would include street views in the pictures online. Overall it was a very good stay.

Perfect location for walking to nearby areas and convenient to a subway station that has two main train lines. The apartment was on a quiet street and pictures are accurate for the apartment. Would definitely stay again.

Spacious apartment for 7 adults. Ideal location for tourist attractions and the beach. Would recommend to others and would stay in the apartment again. Barcalona is an amazing city with lots to see and do. Book attractions in advance to save queuing and try the cycle tour, good fun.

The apartment is centrally located and has central air conditioning! University subway station is minutes away and makes it convenient to get around town. The newly renovated finishes are beautiful! We love how clean the bathrooms and kitchen areas are. The bedrooms are also great because they are relatively similar in size and every room can fit two people. The apartment was perfect for our party of five and everything was well furnished, clean and very comfortable. The location is excellent for exploring Barcelona with plentiful restaurants and Metro nearby. Betty Fords is recommended for a lively experience with good food but our favourites have to be Teresa Carles vegetarian restaurant and her Flax and Kale flexitarian restaurant. Both are highly recommended and five minutes away from the apartment.
Eduard is a pleasure to communicate with and extremely helpful with local information. We had a delightful stay and can highly recommend this apartment. Thank you Eduard.

The good: Location, location, location. Walking distance to several good restaurants and cafes, 2 metro stations, many bus stops, and Las Ramblas. 4 bedroom, 3 bath was perfect for our family - all the adults had their own bathroom, and our daughter got her own room. The daily housekeeping was a nice touch.
The bad: Our apartment was on the "2nd" floor. You come in at ground level and have to go up 1/2 a flight of stairs to get to the small (2 person) lift. Then there is a floor for the laundry room, then 1, then 2. This isn't a deal breaker, but it's hard with a large group with luggage coming in, and my mother has a knee injury and needed the elevator which we couldn't take together. Also, the front bedroom (by the living room) - I think does not have a heating vent. It got very cold at night, but only in that room. After a couple of nights we left the door open and the heat regulated itself.
The good far outweighs the bad, and we would definitely stay again.

This apartment is very nice, spacious and has very friendly and helpful people, but and this is a big BUT - it seemed as though each night there were parties in the hall, a flamenco dancer in the room above, an interior designer that moved furniture about in the wee hours and someone that thought it a good idea to empty a container of what sounded like no less than a 1000 glass bottles around 2 am. These occurrences or something similar happened every, single, night! There were other noises that we certainly understandable, like babies crying on occasion, but it really didn't matter which room of the apartment you were in, you heard it all. It is quite a shame since the apartment is centrally located, very clean, nicely equipped and the staff was available when needed.

We booked the flat 5 days. The central location is perfect, so we can walk to all place of interest. Many restaurant, bars, bakery and 24h shops near by the house in the heart of barcelona.

We had a group of 3 adults and 4 kids. The apartment was exactly what we needed. It was a comfortable temperature, the bedrooms were divided as needed and the fact that there were 3 bathrooms made a big difference. Also having laundry in the building helped a lot after lots of traveling. An enjoyable stay.

We loved staying here. There were four adults and three teens in our group. The location was very convenient to transportation and was walkable to stores and restaurants. The apartment was the best of both worlds; it had an old Barcelona feel to it but had modern appliances and was very clean. Check in was very easy and there was even maid service!

We rented two units in the building for two families and it was perfect! The owners were so easy and helpful. Inside is a lovely space with lots of bathrooms for all. It is close to all kinds of fun-walking distance! Great restaurants and bars nearby too. We could also do laundry. That was important as we spent 5 days in Barcelona then went on a cruise. Loved it

It was such a wonderful spot with plenty of room for everyone to all be together and also space for some privacy when desired. Location was amazing! We walked all over the city. Our host(s) we’re super responsive and bent over backwards to be helpful in many ways, from an easy checkin to great ideas to check out in the city and also really assisted in procuring some luggage that our airline had lost in transit. Highly recommend!

We absolutely had a wonderful stay and loved our apartment. It had the old world charm, but nice modern amenities that make it the perfect place. It was a charming neighborhood with great little shops, but within walking distance to all the major sites.

Needs updating. Poorly stocked kitchen. No actual coffee maker. Only Nespresso. Plus was only 10 minute walk to Starbucks. Great location, but very noisy from all directions! Granted, we were there during civil unrest, which contributed to noise, but there was a lot of noisy foot traffic, and loud parties close by. Did not have any contact with property manager once we got there. Also beware, this property requires stair climbing. Up 5 flights. Tiny elevator starts on 2nd floor. Plus: the space is plenty large, with lots of storage. Three full bathrooms which functioned well. Front bedroom very noisy from street. We had a great time in Barcelona, but would probably do a hotel next time.

On the whole the property was more than adequate for our needs. It was clean, quiet and very well located on a charming street that was a very short to walk to many of the places we wanted to visit. If we needed public transportation, buses or taxi stands were just around he corner. A five minute walk took us to Las Ramblas. On the whole, the property was great for the eight of us.

We LOVED this apartment. It was close to everything but not in the epicenter of chaos and crowds. Plenty of sleeping space for everyone and a great communal area. I adored the old books scattered throughout. The owners were very helpful and accessible. Thank you!

The location in Barcelona was perfect. Right downstairs, there were all kinds of restaurants, bars and a supermarket. It is very close to the metro, so it is a perfect launching point to all of Barcelona.
The apartment is as you see in the pictures. I would definitely recommend it.

Our family of 7 adults stayed in this spacious apartment in May 2017. It is very clean and well equipped and is in a great location. Easy walking distance to all of the sights in Barcelona. There are shops for groceries and coffee on the same street making it very convenient. Eduard was very helpful with the check-in and with arranging for taxis to the airport on our last day. Highly recommend this apartment, especially for a large group

DO NOT RENT!
NOTHING MORE THAN BASIC ACCOMMODATION
We were so disappointed with the standard of this apartment that we stayed for one night (as it was late) and checked into a hotel the following day.
The photos do not at all look like that of the apartment. To make it worse, Eduard did nothing but argue with us when we got back to hand the keys in. His explaination of it being dirty was that it was 200 years old, despite the fact that is was advertised as being refurbished.
The main bedroom was on a slant. Again, Eduards explaination was that it was old and to be expected. There are no photos of this.
The photos that have been used to advertise this apartment are those of another in the same building as it is a multi-advert. We now know why there are only 2 photos of this particular apartment. Eduard said that we should have asked for further pictures, but at the time of booking, as far as we were concerned we were looking at the pictures. We did not know that those pictures were of another apartment. We had no reason to request any other pictures when the advertisement ones look nice. If they had more pictures, why were they not on the advert!
They have agreed to refund 2 days stay (out of 4) after a full blown argument in front of our 3 children and even after all that, eduard still did not relent and even understand where we were coming from. There's nothing worse than having your holiday ruined as you've got to change accommodation and then to have our complaints fall on def ears!
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

There were 6 adults in our group so having 4 bedrooms and 3 baths was perfect. Anytime you rent an apartment in a popular location, be aware that you will hear street noises and we did hear a little noise from the apartment above and below. However, noise is just part of life in big cities so you can just expect it regardless of where you stay. The kitchen was fully equipped and clean, the tv worked as did the Internet. We did purchase some additional toilet paper and paper towels. There are two mini-markets across the alley from the apartment so we were able to eat in several evening meals and every breakfast. La Rambla was within walking distance as were all our tour meeting locations. The pictures of the apartment do not reflect some of the wear and tear on the interior but it is typical of these older buildings. There are a number of steps up to the apartment but thankfully there is a small lift up to the 2nd floor. We enjoyed our time in this apartment and appreciated the attention to our requests form the management.
