Food was excellent and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The bar has a nice atmosphere.
The outside appearance of the pub is off putting. We drove straight past it thinking it was part of an industrial area.
The bedroom was ok, bedding lovely and clean and fresh but the room and bathroom could probably do with a deep clean. Nowhere to plug anything in near the mirror. But overall it was fine for a couple of nights.
Conversation overheard indicates that the whole place is due to be refurbished so all of the above might not apply when the work is finished.

The meals were well presented and tasty.the location was a bit remote.when we arrived the outside of the hotel looked very shabby but the inside and the bedrooms were good.staff were excellent
The outside was very shabby.but a member of staff told us they were shutting down in October for refurbishment

The staff were fantastic and the food was amazing. Bed was super comfortable.
It was on a busy main road and the chickens in the garden across the road woke us up very early but the room itself could do with an update and a full length mirror, maybe better lighting in the bathroom but it was clean and comfortable on the whole. The curtain up at the window didn't actually cover the window so they could invest in a pair that fit.

Convenient location for our trip, and good to have a pub onsite
Renovations taking place which destroyed the peaceful country ambience.
Staff in the pub were efficient, but certainly not friendly - service seemed begrudging.
Cabins had no through-ventilation and were extremely hot and stuffy - good for winter, not good for even a normal English summer
