Not at all recommended!!
The location was good, 3 blocks from the skytrain and Broadway. Easy walk to False Creek, water front beaches, and downtown.
The room we stayed in was on the bottom floor. The room was uncomfortably unclean. The walls were filthy and beat up, and there was grafitti on one wall. The tile floors appeared not to have been cleaned. We didn't feel comfortable taking our shoes off, and so we went out and bought flipflops to wear in the room. The bathroom was very cramped. The shower stall was small and unclean (Again, the flip flops came in handy). The toilet was awkwardly situated so close to the wall in front of it that sitting down was challenging. The bed mattress was so worn out that it was bowl shaped and not very comfortable. There was a small kitchen and eating area shared by four rooms. The stove/oven was apartment sized, natural gas, dirty, and not in very good shape. There was a microwave oven, a coffee maker, a refrigerator, and a dishwasher. The eating area was a 4x4 alcove off the kitchen. The entire eating area was taken up by two small tables in such a way that only one person at a time could use the table(s). There was a washer and dryer located in a closet in the hallway connecting the rooms. They were out of order. Finally... safety, there was a base for a smoke detector in our room, but the smoke detector had been removed. The two hardwired smoke detectors in the hallway were both missing with just the wiring left. There was a fire extinguisher, but it was not on its holder in the kitchen but instead on one of the tables in the eating area and a bit hard to reach. Neither my wife nor I are terribly fussy. We've done lots of roughing it and camping and stayed in our share of two and three star hotels. Most were old with lots of wear and tear but usually well cleaned and safe. This one cost us $130/night. It was horribly neglected and run down, unclean, and unsafe. None of the pictures or descriptions (aside from the location) of the property on Booking.com in any way represented what we ended up getting. This one was about as bad as it gets.

Worked with well with my journey
Great location and grocery store in walk distance. Owners was friendly and provided great convenience when I asked for keeping luggage longer.
An old properties and can be better with some reno work thought it must fall under a totally different price range. The space is very large.

Don't book here
The fact that your associate told us that we would be fully compensated for our stay.
First, we were told that they gave our room to someone else. Then we were told that due to water damage from recent rainfall, the roof was leaking, and the room was unavalable as it was under repair.

We did not stay!!
Nothing! We asked for our money back, apparently the room supposedly assigned to us was not available and we were taken to the house next door, which was not FIT for occupancy. .we were told there would be NO REFUND. The accommodation was not acceptable, we were left with no alternative but to leave and find accommodation else where. TOTAL FRAUD

Great apartments in the beautiful surroundings
The location was exceptional, maybe a 10/10! With a picturesque kitchen view (see picture), a yard, and incredibly helpful and responsive staff, our visit was thoroughly enjoyable. We rented this apartment for the whole month, finding it to be an excellent option for budget travelers. The district is safe, with Kin's food market and a shopping mall nearby, as well as all the banks and services within a 10-minute walk. Additionally, the beautiful Charleston park and Olympic village are close by. The house has a Victorian-style architecture. This property is truly underrated!
