Staff were outstanding. Helpful and attentive. We received a free upgrade and our room was fit for a king, over looking the Forum. Roof top terrace is exceptional and breakfast was wonderful. The air conditioner struggled a bit but it’s a 600 year old building. Worth the stay and I would return any chance we get.

Fantastic hotel! Great location: right next to Forum and minute walk to the colosseum. Nice shopping nearby. The staff were very helpful as well, arranging taxis and private transfers. The food at the restaurant for breakfast and dinner was great! The best part is the rooftop bar! Great strong drinks reasonable priced with a fantastic view!!

Had to request a different room because the first room was very in adequate, especially considering the rate I was paying. No window and very small. They did, however, move me to a much nicer room.

We were in love with Hotel Forum before we even set foot in the door. The ancient Forum sits literally 5 ft from your taxi and you know, now without a doubt, that Hotel Forum is apply named and you have arrived! Through the doors, you step into a world that no longer exists in modern times; it is a time machine pulling you into days gone by with its richly decorated red velveteen sitting areas, its lengthy carpeted approach to the elevator, the staircase, the restrooms. All are reminiscent of a time when the 'grand tours' of Europe were traveled by the upper classes and gentry. The narrow cobblestone streets lead to the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, the Forum and all are in walking distance. Outdoor cafe's are simply steps away. The rooms are aptly decorated to fit the theme of the hotel and are quite comfortable. Shuttered windows look out onto the cobbled streets below or the amazing Forum. The rooftop restaurant gives breathtaking views of the Forum, and one short flight higher is a small and cozy bar with, again, breathtaking views. If you are in for a magical time in a magical city, Choose Hotel Forum. Should I return to Rome, I would not stay elsewhere.
