Hotel Makani is a cute, clean, quiet but beautiful place to stay. The rooms are small but absolutely clean, the beds are comfortable, and the bathrooms had amenities I needed (like soap and shampoo). The check in clerk was very accommodating and friendly.
It was a little tough to find at first, and a little smaller than expected.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND. I accidently left my passports and cash in the room. They immediately called me to let me know. I got all my valuables without any issues. Quiet area away from the noise. Very hospitable and trust-worthy.

The location of this hotel is down a side street with a lot of empty houses. Did not feel safe. The staff gave a ticket for breakfast at a hotel 5-10
Minutes walk away. The breakfast was really good!
Need more lighting, hooks, and side tables in the room. Need more hooks in the bathroom. Was very cramped.
