Everything was great. The staff was super friendly. The breakfast was great. We also really liked that we can go to the sister hotel (2 min walk, right across) to enjoy the onsen.
The pictures of the room matches exactly, there wasn't any camera tricks used. Room was clean and comfortable.
If you are here for skiing, it is a short distance to Goryu. The staff also drove us to the bus terminal for us to catch a bus back to Nagano Station for free

Close proximity to Escal plaza, attentive staff and good service. Owner able to offer free pick up and drop off service to train /bus station.
Bathroom is a bit small and dryer room may need a better dryer for snow equipment.

Room was great. Staff were great. Location is very good in that has good combo of being middle (ish)to mountain base and some great food / apres options after skiing.
I liked everything about the property. Good value, clean and very helpful staff. Recommend getting a ski a boot locker at base lodge “Escal Plaza” .. we were there for seven days and it made the morning short walk up the hill to the lifts much easier doing it in your sneaks/ apre boots.. plus all the transport to other resorts at the base lodge.. so walk up easy, grab your gear and decide if u skiing GORYU / 47 or one of the other great resorts in the Hakuba valley

Very friendly staff and we were kindly picked up from the bus stop. breakfast served each morning, rooms were cosy and warm.
