Confusion regarding complimentary tea/coffee; inconsistency in staff messages. Parking available at hotel, overflow

The property is conveniently situated in the central area and within walking distance to the beach.

There was some confusion regarding the availability of complimentary tea and coffee. While one receptionist informed us that it was included, another staff member, an older lady, mentioned that it wasn't available for single-night stays. It would be beneficial for the establishment to provide consistent messaging or include this information in the booking details. Overall, considering the price paid, the room met expectations.

Arrogant Manager

The very smiling welcoming receptionist. Location proximity to beach and town centre. The room was very clean.

Our room was near the lifts (which we were not informed) and the hotel was full, so for most of the night wherever the noisy lift operated, my sleep got disturbed. We decided to check out next day. The receptionist was very understanding and empathetic and was willing to refund the full amount of the remaining 2 nights but the Manager interrupted and said we could only get 50% refund on the 2 nights. I requested for 75% refund and he declined. Anyways, I found a nearby Abnb that was fabulous and at half the price. As one would say, whatever happens, happens for thr best.

Great budget hotel with fab pool but wrap up warm in bed

Had a cheap single room And everything was great, swimming pool to myself! - other than needing another blanket as it was cold. If they got this right it would be 10/10. They could only find me an extra sheet however!

I was too cold in bed so didn’t sleep well which is crucial. Also there isn’t enough parking for all residents so had to park 5 min walk away. Otherwise I couldn’t fault it.

its location was fantastic for what we wanted close to the station and having a 2 year old she could walk everywhere so it made the break even better overall a five star place to visit

the birds messing on my car but it soon cleans off, the breakfest could be a bit bigger, but i cannot fault the place its self

Great hotel the food was amazing

Everything, lovely hotel, fantastic staff, super friendly. Bar and entertainment every night. The bed was comfy.

Great hotel not to far from anything

It was great. Free parking lovely clean comfortable room. Having a bar, pool room and swimming pool although I didnt use any of them on this occassion I will come back and use them next time

Absolutely nothing to not like. Just grateful with me being on the top floor the lift was working

a smoker had been in my room and must have been heavy smoker , tobacco smell rotten could have used a strong freshener in room and aired it out

perfectly good for one night

really nice looking property and beautiful in the reception and bar area, rooms a good size and comfy bed

it’s a little tired in the rooms, decor quite dated and a little shabby, bathroom sink was cracked/repaired and curtains were a little broken but saying that it didn’t affect our stay

Enjoyable breakfast could be improved

Breakfast waitress kept forgetting our requests small girl dark hair also carrying crockery with her sleeves over plates/bowls just thought this wasn’t very hygenic

it was clean .. it had a pool.. a bar.. food if you wanted. staff were friendly and helpful

We were in Oaignton for a family wedding, the Queens Hotel was ideal for what we needed

Breakfast was brilliant.

We weren’t keen on the bath/shower arrangement.

Very good

breakfast & dinner were well presented and well presented . The staff were very friendly and helpful

Car parking was a lottery and although the room was adequate the shower and bathroom facilities would have benefitted from a makeover. Clothes storage facilities were poor.
