Great location to beach, which is opposite. The town and the station are a short walk away, makes a great base if on foot, exploring Devon, and further a field into Cornwall.
Well decorated, clean, and friendly owners.
Ironing board and Iron on request.
Minor detail but shower was not greatest but serves a purpose, could of done with a chair in the room too, as large enough.

I only had breakfast on the morning of my departure and it was vdry good and good portions.
I was disappointed that the bar was only open from 12.00 to 18.00 hours, This was not made clear on the website. The hotel has two very lovely reception rooms that I felt were not utilised properly. I rarely saw anyone sitting in these areas and enjoying them apart from the staff members.
It was also alittle unsettling that no staff members were onsite overnight that I could contact if necessary. This felt defiantly like a B & B experience and not a Hotel.

Near the centre and near sea. Room was clean.
Noise from the fair which could still be heard with windows shut. Would have been good to have been warned about this. No offer to change rooms and staff not very helpful. Dated decor in the rooms.
