Quiet location. Nice to have a fridge with fresh milk provided. Lovely breakfast cooked fresh to order using quality local products. Beautifully clean, well furnished, spacious room (14 - Riviera room) Very friendly hosts - this was our return visit. If coming to Torquay again we will definitely stay here.

The Charterhouse is a hidden gem. It is in a perfect location for accessing Cockington village and Torquay. The house is beautiful, in lovely gardens with hidden depths...terraces, pool and tucked away suntrap. The breakfasts are amazing, cooked to order and cooked to perfection. Lisa and Christophe are the perfect hosts, accessible , friendly and very accommodating.
