Een uitzonderlijk goed hotel dat voldeed aan al onze wensen : rustige omgeving, zicht op de oceaan en de kleine haven vriendelijke ontvangst die zeer persoonlijk was, we kregen kamer 5 die heel groot en schoon was met alle comfort! Bubbelbad inbegrepen. We konden een kaas-charcuterieschotel bestellen voor avondmaal dat op de kamer terras werd gebracht. Ook het ontbijt is zeer lekker en mag je voor 20 u bestellen wat je wenst aan zeer democratisch prijzen.Het wer ‘s morgens op het terras beneden opgediend. Jammmer hadden we maar voor 1 nacht geboekt, ik was er graag wat langer gebleven.
De locatie was niet zo eenvoudig te vinden met de gps, gelukkig kregen we extra aanwijzingen via mail.Een beetje verouderd hotel maar wij vonden dit de max!!!

The location was wonderful, perched on a high hill so while great for views of the ocean and their lovely garden, it was not easily accessed except by car. Although described online as 'accessible' the chair lift did not work. Lovely house with great character and very personable staff.
I am not sure if it should be called a hotel but rather a really great guest house. The choices for breakfast were meager and there was no other food available in the hotel. Drinks could be requested until 8 pm. Unfortunately for us, (elderly with no car) there was only one restaurant open in the village. Andrew kindly brought our most disabled member up and down to the village most of the days.

Der sehr gepflegte Garten; ein grünes Paradies. Mit einer steilen Auffahrt, dafür ist man dann auf einer Anhöhe über dem Dorf. Schöne Aussicht aus dem Salon zum Meer hinunter. Mein Eckzimmer war schön gross und hatte grosse Fenster übers Eck.
1. Die eingeschränkte Auswahl beim Frühstück. Man darf / muss wählen zwischen fixen Varianten; es gibt nichts dazwischen. Z.B. also salzig oder süss; das muss genau passen; die Qualität des Frühstücks selbst war ok.
(Das zweite Frühstück habe ich verpasst, denn die Frühstücks-Bestellung am Vorabend muss bis um 20:00 ausgefüllt bei der Reception sein, aber so früh war ich noch nicht zurück im Hotel...)
2. Mein Zimmer hat sehr stark gemüffelt, so wie die Einzimmerwohnung meiner damals 80jährigen Grossmutter. (Das ist kein Witz!)
