Hotel Gault was in a great location. The staff were very welcoming and the rooms were very comfortable. Had everything we needed for a first time stay in Montreal.

Beautiful space, nice breakfast (outside of the coffee), wonderful rooms and a great, central location.
The staff were simply awful. Super unfriendly (especially the tall guy with the beard, whose whole attitude just screamed "get out") staff except for the one receptionist with bleached eyebrows, who we adored. Not family friendly at all. And seriously, what was up with the entry doors and stairs? Awful for bringing in suitcases, and they didn't even move to help us. The place was overpriced simply because any amount is too much when the vibe sucks this bad.
