The location was perfect for us. Staff at check in were really friendly with lots of info about our stay. The room was well appointed. Breakfast was excellent.

The Cottage Cakes were delicious!
The main house is very charming with original woodwork and hardware.
Parking was readily available.
With the back door to the main house open (unlocked) during the night, an inside room lock or bolt would've added a level of security to increase our level of comfort.

The breakfast offerings were very good but, unfortunately, the one day we wanted to have breakfast at the Inn, every seat was taken by 8 AM, when service began - so we went elsewhere. Plenty of other choices in town, though.
It was a bit tough having a room on the very top floor. Somehow, I hadn't realized we would be walking all those stairs every time we went back to our room.
