Perfect location to explore the island. The bedrooms are comfortable and the appartment is big with all sorts of appliences in the kitchen. Their is parking in front of the house, towels are provided, the pool is clean and the owners are super friendly. What not to love, I had a very pleasant stay!

The house is well equipped with everything we could have wanted or thought of. The pool area and games area were a great touch and I loved the hammock. I really enjoyed the fact that we had a good amount of English TV and film channels with a great picture. We also loved the quaintness of the house and the ornaments really gave it an interesting and home feeling. The bed was very comfy and we like the bathroom light being on a sensor. The owners live in a separate property above but we didn't hear any noise or see them after our first warm welcoming. It was comforting to know we had help if we needed it. We actually stayed in a top hotel in the city for a night and couldn't wait to get back to our Cassa.
The property is on a street with other houses but isn't over looked and you have your own driveway for the car. The location of the Cassa was great for exploring Sao Miguel in any direction car which is a big part of why we chose it. We didn't walk into the centre of the small town (about 10 mins on foot) so I don't know what that was like. We did visit the local steak house as recommended by Ruben and it was top class but make sure to book in advance.
My wife and I both agreed we could happily stay there again we felt so relaxed and at home.
