Altiplanico Atacama

Beautiful lodge - loved the feel and decor. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly - were given restaurant tips and advice about the trips we did. In particular one staff member on duty over night that helped us liaise with the car hire company after we got a puncture. She was incredible , so helpful and save the day. Was close enough into town to walk if you wanted. Also close to some attractions. We organised our own trips but have an in house company who can arrange for you.

Super relaxed vibe, with quiet luxury charm - a real gem. Great staff and team, and a fantastic base to explore the region, which is spellbinding.

My partner and I had a wonderful stay at Our Habitas in Atacama. Let me break it down into multiple sections! Aesthetics + views The entire hotel is gorgeous. Really vibey decor throughout, and the communal areas are super clean and well maintained. The outside area is also lovely, with lots of little nooks for socialising. The views from the gardens are amazing :) Attached to the review is the view from our private patio, which honestly doesn't do the view justice! It's 100x nicer in real life. Staff So friendly and attentive! They were super accommodating of all our requests, and made a really wonderful first impression of Chile for us :) Plus they all spoke great English too, so don't worry if you are travelling and your Spanish is a little basic. Food I'm vegan, my partner isn't. We were both well fed :) The menu has loads of vegan items, and they are all delicious! Portions are also huge, which is what you need after a day of excursions. Thank you Our Habitas team for a really wonderful trip! :)

facilities are pretty, the doorman and restaurant staff are lovely

A lot of poor things: - toilet was clogged - we called several numbers and texted the whatsapp, no one responded on time, fortunately someone picked up and came promptly - one day we were out of the room from 7am to 2pm and no one cleaned the room, we asked for it to be cleaned at 3ish, and the lady, in her rude tone, said she’d leave at 3pm. We texted the hotel by whatsapp, not a single response nor apology - There are no bicycles available, despite advertising. no transfer to the city center - Entertainment program is poor, yoga classes at 10am, knowing that all tours start very early in the morning - Reception personnel were the least professional, certainly not trained to be working in a claimed 4 star hotel - Poor checkout experience, they wanted to charge us twice Would have been fine to pay 100-150 usd per night, but for 300 / night the standards should be dramatically higher
