The staff is most helpful and forthcoming any time of the day.
The location is reasonable, the room is a good size and quiet. It has tea making facilities and everything you need.
The shower is a bit tight, and the breakfast was less varied than we've expected.

One of the best things about the hotel is, without a doubt, its location. The service is also exceptional. The guys at reception were extremely friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout my stay. They were always available and willing to help with anything I needed, and they are truly very professional.
As a lovely final touch, when I checked out, they even gave me a small bottle of wine as a gift. It was a very nice gesture and a great way to end my stay.
On the negative side, I booked a specific room, but the room I was given was completely different from the one shown in the photos when I made the reservation. The hotel told me that I had been given an upgrade, but honestly, I did not feel that it was an upgrade. The room I booked and the room I received were very different.
The hotel itself is divided into two parts. The main building is an older part of the hotel with a lot of charm and character. However, there is also an annex, which is accessed via a rather unattractive spiral staircase. Unfortunately, the room in the annex felt neither charmingly old nor properly modern. It was somewhere in between, and personally, I really didn't like the atmosphere or the design.
This was actually the main reason why, after a short trip, I decided not to return to this hotel, even though I had originally considered staying here again.
Another negative point is the soundproofing. The walls are very thin, and you can hear a lot of noise from the neighbouring rooms. I was lucky that the guests next door were only talking and weren't shouting, but I could still hear their conversations very clearly.
Finally, I found the daily housekeeping to be quite superficial. The room was cleaned, but it didn't feel like a thorough cleaning.

The peace. Our room was not street facing and was very quiet. The bed. was very comfortable.
