We were greeted by a pleasant and attentive concierge and offered a small complimentary snack and prosecco. Our room was a luxurious room - beautiful décor with windows and a small balcony overlooking the interior courtyard. The room offered a fridge/bar with drinks, a kettle with coffee and tea packets, separate his/her closets, cotton robes, slippers and shower/tub. The air conditioning was quiet and cold. The top floor of the building has a beautiful lounge area and lovely terrace that is available to guests. Breakfast is served in the lounge and terrace area. The location is quiet and the rooms are also quiet. It is a small hotel with just a few rooms on each floor. The concierge and service staff were amazing and helpful with all our questions and requests. The location is incredible. While it is in a very busy area, it is tucked away on a less busy street. We did not hear street noise of any kind. It is a very close to the Colosseum, Forum and many other areas of interest. The restaurants we tried in the area were all very good. Lastly, the hotel has a private 2,000-year-old ancient Roman cryptoporticus (covered stone corridor) which you can explore. It was charming and cool. I would stay here again.

Second time staying at The Inn at the Roman Forum and would not stay anywhere else when in Rome. Fantastic staff and brilliant location . Really is a special place to stay.
