Lovely comfortable room with lovely shower.
We found breakfast arrangements disappointing and location a little far from the centre of York.

The guest house was further out of the city then I hoped for, although my main reason for choosing this location was parking but circumstances meant I couldn't drive.
The decor was very interesting and the ipad was easy to use to control air conditioning

Really happy with room 8. It was up 3 flights if stairs, which wasn't a problem for me.
The room was very clean, the doors are coded the checking in & out via an app.
window blind is managed by a romote control & it made the room really dark.
Lovely bathroom with a bathtub and walk in shower.
Only hand soap, (no shampoo although there is a hairdryer). Bath water is scalding hot, so be mindful.
All 8 rooms were booked last night, but I heard no noise from anyone else.. It was a wonderful peaceful evening.. With good WiFi so I was able to work.
Parking is tight especially if other visitors have vans or larger vehicles, as they did on my visit..but off road parking is limited in York, especially near to the hospital.

The room was wonderful, the best place we stayed of the 11 we have used on this trip.
