The staff were all exceptional! Very friendly and knowledgeable a credit to the wonderful maxine the landlady! The food was lovely and good value. Was very accomadating to my husband who is vegan!
Was, a bit put off at first when saw the room was facing quite a main road but we actually didn't hear much traffic at night so was great and we didn't hear anything from the pub/ restaurant downstairs either

Location, food in evening/breakfast were good and hospitality by the staff.
The room was on the front with a busy road so noisy at night and early morning. Unable open window due to this which was a problem due to hot weather.
Room on first appearance looked nice, had mineral water, coffee, tea etc. The beds though were uncomfortable and made up with a single sheet and duvet with no mattress protector. The mattresses were stained and had seen better days. Slept on top of the duvet as did not fancy idea of the mattress.
Bathroom was of a good size but tired, mold on the sealant in the shower, very poor water pressure and dirty shower head. Toilet paper strangely positioned behind you and toilet brush didn’t have a handle.
