Rooms are lovely and spacious. Being on the 10th floor meant we had a great view of the central market and the coast. Location is excellent, very central and close to everything - cafes, restaurants, shopping, and the central market. The lounge area is a beautiful, tranquil oasis to relax in. Although the cafe offers a very limited menu, the chicken curry and bagel we had was excellent.
Being on the 10th floor meant we had a great view of the central market and the coast, however dirty windows with years of caked-on grime blocked the view, and, unfortunately there is a huge building in front which blocked a beautiful sunset. There is also sloppy paintwork in the newly renovated bathroom.

The Victoria Square location was excellent, close to Central Markets, China Town and the Tram station. The restaurant food quality was very good and room service was quick. We arrived early (midday) to check-in or drop our bags but our room was ready and we were grateful for the early check-in. We thought the staff were great and tendered to all our needs.
The executive lounge was closed for the first 2 days of our stay, to upgrade the lounge, which was surprising but we received vouchers for the main ground floor bar for drinks and snacks which was good. However I think this situation should have been communicated to us when booking. Also a light blanket in the room would have been good.

Great location next to markets & Chinatown. We could walk to cafes, restaurants & the Rundle Mall. Staff were very friendly & helpful. Lovely view over Victoria square.
For the expensive price we paid, it wasn't up to the standard of other Hilton Hotels we have stayed in. The hotel is very dated, the carpets in the halls outside the lifts need replacing, they are covered in stains.
Our expensive buffet meal was very tasty, but cold. The food was not kept at the correct temperature. We did bring this to the attention of staff, so maybe this has improved.
