We have stayed in many VRBO properties, paying attention when we rent to amenities and details that make a stay comfortable. To provide context, we don't try to rent the least expensive but look for a place where we'll enjoy spending time. This is the best VRBO we've stayed in. Katie, the owner, is attentive but not intrusive; she texted to make sure we got in. I suspect that she spends considerable time in the condo, i.e., it's not rented year round subject to rough renter treatment. It feels like you've been invited into someone's lovely home. The details that are notable include: comfortable beds; comfortable LR furniture and even a small, flexible reading lamp next to the couch; flexible reading lamps on each side of the main bed; good quality kitchen fixtures, china, tableware; nice linens; showers with good water pressure; ceiling fans in all rooms other than the bathrooms and extra box fans in the garage; a balcony for morning coffee and evening wine. Every aspect of the condo is clean and well maintained. The neighborhood is quiet, the condo is quiet. We never heard neighbors. In other words, even if you plan to be out of the condo most of the time, it's a place that you can look forward to coming back to.

This was a fabulous condo in a great location. The unit is obviously well loved by the owner, and well taken care of by the property owner. Our only complaint was that it was listed as having central A/C when, in fact, it did not. It had a portable unit that did an OK job, and I believe the listing has now been corrected to reflect no central A/C.

Five stars!! Really nice unit and close to everything! Loved being able to use the garage for golf clubs fishing equipment and lawn chairs. Super easy vs carrying them up a flight of steps! Worked perfectly for two senior citizen couples. Golfed Rollingstone Ranch and Haymaker. Fished Stagecoach Lake. A really great time. Thank you. I am waiting for someone to explain the $239 additional fees charged on the reservation - I’ve been passed back and forth between. evolve and VRBO. Would be nice to have someone step up and provide some customer service.

well stocked and clean
Property had plenty of towels, very well stocked kitchen, especially liked being able to enter the bathroom from inside the bedroom. Mud/laundry room was great to put gear, coolers, etc...in and the enclosed garage was really a treat! Enjoyed both balconies and thank you for the sunshades to keep the living area cooler in the afternoon.

The Perfect Spot
My fiancé and I wanted to get away for a relaxing stay and this condo was exactly what we needed. First it was really easy to locate and access. Being able to use the garage was fantastic because I felt that it car was safe at night and it kept the car cool during the day. The area around the condo was beautiful and it was in the perfect location because it was a short drive to downtown, to Strawberry Hot Springs and to Fish Creek Falls. The condo was nicely furnished (the couches were super comfortable), it was very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. The guest contact was very friendly and responded quickly when I reached out to her. For those sensitive to sound, you could hear the neighbors in the unit above walk around but it didn't impact our stay and we never heard them at night. The condo did get a little warm during the day but the condo has a window fan and ceiling fans that help cool the unit in just a few minutes. Overall, I thought the condo was a fantastic place to stay and I would use it again if we visit Steamboat Springs in the future.

This property is perfect for a small family or two couples. The unit is very clean and comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked for cooking in. We found the easiest way to go skiing was to drive to the lower lot (1 mile away) and hope on the shuttle. very quick and easy.

This condo was perfect for a weekend get away. Clean, cozy, and a great location for the price. The owners did a great job updating the property and provided thoughtful touches throughout. The property manager went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location and excellent amenities
We were impressed by how clean the condo was. Several updates have been done recently, and there is clearly an attention to maintenance for the unit. The laundry/mudroom is right off the entrance, and is set up very well for storing ski gear, coats, shoes and more. The kitchen was well outfitted, even including an electric kettle. We were pleased to see sufficient refills for paper products.
Since the condo is not right at the base area, we enjoyed a peaceful stay during a busy time at Steamboat. It is an easy walk to one of the stops for the free bus. Even though there is a garage for the unit, a car is definitely not necessary. Our visit coincided with very cold temperatures. The heat in the unit worked very well to keep us warm indoors.
It was nice to have a local contact during our stay. We appreciated not only being met at the condo and walked through, but also knowing that there was someone "on call" in case an issue were to arise. Both Tim and Joe were very friendly and eager to see that we enjoyed our stay.

This was one of the best units we've stayed in at Sunray Meadows. The condo was comfortable and well-equipped, and the manager was very attentive and helpful. We'll be back!
