We spent 5 days here in early October and then 2 days on the following weekend. Host Nick was very accommodating, easy to contact. His place is immaculate, beds are very comfortable and the place is super clean. Great supermarket just a few minutes away. A longer walk to the subway but the buses do stop almost right outside on the main street. Only fault is the people upstairs can be noisy depending on who is staying there as Nick rents out the whole building so better to ask for the upper level if available.

Great location for public transport ( we had a car for only 1 day to travel to the Niagara waterfalls), shops and restaurants, appartment fully equiped and comfortable, beds were made on arrival. Owner quick in responding to e-mails. We (5 adults) had a superb week.

We were staying for a vacation during August 5-12. We first got there and were very happy that it was so large but cozy. We had a great kitchen to be able to cook whatever we needed, as well as a grill in the back. We had my husband and I and 3 teenage boys. Our purpose was to see the Hockey Hall of Fame, but we saw a lot more. We had such close proximity to get into the city with the bus, subway, and train. Our neighbors were extremely nice, they went out of their way literally to show us where to go!! Nick was awesome we had minor wifi problems that we talked to him about and he was right on top of it and fixed quickly. Nick really was very personable and wanted you to be comfortable during your stay. He goes really out of his way to do so. We were also in close proximity to the beach u could walk but we drove and its like 5min drive. We walked the boardwalk wh/ was so nice that Toronto is so dog friendly. the only issue for us was that the beds are full size and we are too big to fit together on a full size bed. but we slept on this couch together one side each way. The couch was very soft and comfortable. Each kid had a room to stretch out. lol. We would definitely stay here again. The price was really affordable to where the location is just awesome to everything. groceries, restaurants, and downtown Toronto and the beach. We loved it!! Thank You Nick!!!!! Great rental, owner easy to contact, centrally located. Slight issue with smoke alarm & would have been nice to have washcloths but space was good & nice to be able to cook breakfast & some dinners as well as do laundry while there. Would definitely recommend!

We stayed for a week in early August 2016. The apartment was clean, modern, and comfortable, especially the beds. There was adequate off-street parking. The neighborhood is about 4-5 miles away from the central downtown area, easily accessed by public transit (more on that below). Woodbine Beach was also only a mile or so away. The best part about this property was how easily we got around the entire city. The Gerrard-Main bus stops literally right across the street from the house and runs every 20 minutes. It is a three-minute bus ride to the Main Street subway station (I walked it a couple times). From there you can get to the lake front, the Air Canada Center, the Rogers Center, Ripley’s Aquarium, CN Tower, Eaton Centre, Dundas Square, The Royal Ontario Museum, and Casa Loma. We also went to the Ontario Science center, but that required transferring to a bus (it was no big deal). The subway system is easy to figure out, and all necessary routes are easily acquired via the TTA trip planner on their website. My point in saying all this is that, while the apartment is a few miles out of downtown, it did not feel like we were out in the boonies; we felt connected to the city center. The neighborhood was very nice. We tried to assess the neighborhood via Google Earth street view, but that did not do it justice as it was much nicer than we expected. It is on a gentrifying street with well-kept homes. It was safe and pleasant. There is a small convenience market around the corner. There is a Loblaw’s grocery, a Tim Horton’s, and a McDonald’s a few blocks away on Victoria Park Ave. There are many more businesses just a bit further to the north on Danforth, including a bank and currency exchange. There are many places to eat, drink, and shop within walking distance on Kensington Avenue to the south. Nick and his wife were gracious hosts and was available to us via text or phone. We would surely stay there again.

We stayed in this 3 bedroom suite for 3 weeks - a family with 2 young kids (a toddler and baby) - and the hosts, Nick and Nena, were the best hosts anyone could ask for. Any requests (eg. cot, high chair) were arranged for without question and contact via email or phone (before and during stay) were promptly addressed and very helpful. The home itself was accurate to its description and was equipped with everything that you would need. We found the property clean and, whilst a bit old, was well maintained. One of the best things about the place was the temperature regulation - the home was ALWAYS at a comfortable temperature despite how hot/cold it was outside. The air conditioning at this time of year was excellent and we were well pleased to come home to a comfortable place at the end of the day. Other highlights include: - Close to large supermarkets, all in walking distance - Close to public transport and accessible (we had a double pram!) - Key-less entry (enter with a code so could check in at any time and didn't have to worry about losing a key when we went out) Overall, excellent customer service and I would recommend to a friend or relative. Thanks again, Nick and Nena! Linh and Simon (Western Australia)

I had a great stay at Nick's 3-bedroom apartment. The apartment is spacious, very clean, all furniture modern, and the place is well equipped and well-maintained. There is also laundry machine and dryer in the basement. So basically everything you need is there, just bring in your suitcase. Nick is a very good host and answered all my questions promptly. This is not my first time at Nick's, I keep coming back whenever I am in Toronto because the places he rents out are great and well-maintained. So I highly recommend it if you are looking for a place to call home away from home. Thank you Nick for everything.
