Really great experience with WONDERFUL hosts.

A beautiful home with gorgeous spaces. So glad we chose this location over the average hotel room. Easily walkable to the river through all the lovely parks. Michael and Gerald have done a really great job creating a memorable experience. BREAKFAST WAS AMAZING.

Would go back for sure.

I had the guest room in the rear cottage. Loved it. Very secluded. the grocery store was almost directly across the street, which was great. The breakfast each day was fantastic. The only thing was the tension I sensed between the hosts. It was very uncomfortable for me and was quite obvious, however they were generally very accommodating.

Quiet, historic experience.

The main house that is featured on the website is gorgeous with lovely drapery, crystal chandeliers, and antiques. The breakfast in the morning consists of two courses that are both delicious and filling. Beautiful and well maintained gardens are lovely to stroll through. We were under the impression that we would be staying in the historic house. However, we slept in the carriage house behind the main house. It was cute and very quiet. The bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious. We had some difficulty with our towels drying. We. invisioned, waking up and walking downstairs, having a cup of coffee & sitting in a living area or on the porch. It wasn't conducive to where we were staying. Michael, the host, provided wonderful recommendations on cuisine and was very knowledgeable of the area. The location is perfect. Quiet, and very walkable.

Very relaxing and enjoyable experience.

Breakfast was wonderful, 3 choices each morning. Beautiful old house with lots of charm and comfort. Located next to beautiful Forsyth park. Our hosts were great and helpful with suggestions. Great 3 day get-a-way !!

Totally enjoyable , we will return again!

The accomadations were comfortable and Michael's breakfast each morning was delcious! We thoughly enjoyed our visit to Savannah.

Over all we noticed that the sidewalks in town are in need of repair, it can be a trip hazard in spots. The free trolley was non existant at some stops on the weekend.

Beautiful and Comfortable

Beautiful home and very comfortable room. Breakfasts were unique and delicious. Michael was a wonderful host.

Would be nice to have a better choice of tv non premium and news channels. Wifi also needs to be strengthened.

Our stay at the Thomas Weihs House was exceptional, from the lovely and helpful hosts, the stunning home and accommodations and the proximity to the Historic District. We couldn't have asked for anything more!

Book it! You will be happy!

Really nice room/ building. A nice location next to the biggest parc. The house owners are nice people and they can help you with your questions. I think we dont visit savannah again, because were from germany and would visit other citys instead. But! IF we would come to savannah again, we would book youre place again.

The only thing i missed a bit, was, that we couldnt open the windows. But thats nothing!

Food, rooms and location are fabulous.

One of the 2 gentlemen hosts let personal beliefs ungraciously interfere with what should have been nothing but professional courtesy; A shame because we won't be back and we will recommend the property with the caveat that you shouldn't talk about anything Non-PC at the breakfast table if you're dining inside with other guests.

Remarkable experience with wonderful hosts.

So extremely welcoming and beautiful with the most comfortable accommodations. we couldn’t recommend this place enough. Michael and Gerald were amazing!! The breakfast was outstanding with plenty to offer, even for us picky eaters. We could not get over how comfortable the beds were. The rooms were comfortable and lavish.

Memorable!

The breakfast was exceptional! Michael is not only a great cook but he provided an excellent service! The table setting was beautiful in the beautiful dining room! The interior of the whole house is beautiful and makes you feel comfortable. We are glad I choose this place to stay during our short visit!

It's a unique, friendly and inviting atmosphere to relax.

The host were super friendly and exhibited southern hospitality at all times. The house is breath-taking and the decor makes you feel like you stepped back in time with 21st century amenities. The outdoor veranda displayed a well-manicured lawn with beautiful foliage. Breakfast was extremely delicious everyday. We felt like part of their family during our visit and will definitely visit them whenever we come to Savannah.

Lovely accommodations and staff.

Beautiful furnishings and decorations, lovely ties to its history as well as that of the owners. Food was delicious and beautifully presented. Owners were lovely and very attentive. I tell everyone I know about Thomas Weihs Haus and will definitely return!

We would definitely recommend Thomas Weihs House if you are looking for true Southern hospitality!

We had a wonderful experience at Thomas Weihs House. The owners have modernized it with all the comforts of home without losing the charm of a beautiful 1800s Victorian. Our room (and bathroom) were amazingly spacious and very comfortable. We were worried about the air conditioning in an older home in the heat of the South but no worries here. Michael's breakfasts were delicious and changed daily, avoiding any monotony over a multi-day stay. Any time we needed anything (extra towels, an umbrella) the hosts were there to help. We also loved the location -- just 1 block or so off Forsyth Park and the free DOT bus to the river area. But it was certainly close enough to walk to anywhere we wanted to go in town. Plus, it was across from a grocery in case we wanted any additional nibbles. We also loved how quiet the house and the neighborhood was. We never heard any other guests. It felt like a true escape.

I am not sure there was anything we didn't like.

A great choice for those looking for accommodation evoking Savannah’s illustrious past.

Beautifully renovated property evoking the height of Savannah’s prosperous past. Quiet location, conveniently located for Forsyth Park and 20 minutes walk from Downtown. Michael was a very welcoming host. Delicious breakfast.

Nothing really. just a couple of suggestions to make it even better: - I personally found the pillows to be very high. A choice of pillows would promote a better night’s sleep. - consider adding coffee and tea making facility to the utility area on the first floor.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will recommend TWH to others.

The house is absolutely beautiful with excellent attention to details. The location couldn't be better. The hosts were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was made to order, plentiful ,and delicious.

The only thing I might suggest is providing a Nespresso machine and real 1/2 and 1/2 in the rooms or in the butler's area upstairs. Robes would be a nice touch as well.

Should we return to Savannah we would want to stay here again!

The breakfasts were delicious and Michael was very accommodating in meeting my gluten free needs. Each morning we ate breakfast on the porch overlooking the beautiful gardens. The house and accommodations were beautiful, comfortable and clean. Michael was extremely hospitable and made us feel very welcome.
