Not coming back.

Location and convenience

I specifically booked and paid for a room with a river view. When I mentioned it, first they argued saying I didn’t book a water view room. When I sent the screenshot proving it they rudely said they “already apologized” and didn’t bother to offer any resolution. Parking was $45 per day on top of the expensive room rate. Not impressed for what it cost.

the room window was great one of the best view that I had from other hotels previously visited great scenic room

may be good offer a continental breakfast I think this is a perk that always a traveler appreciate from the hotel with such price,not a big breakfast but something that offer a plus over other hotels

I’ll never stay again

Pay hundreds for $ for a room didn’t include free parking and then charged 22$ destination fee.

A bit expensive but worth it

The rooms were very comfortable. The location is good, close to the center of Boston, but you have to walk almost 2 km to get there. The area is very good and beautiful, with a park and the river just behind the hotel. There are two train stations relatively close (maybe 700 meters away). The hotel area is nice, but if you need a supermarket, you have to walk more than 1 km to find one. Only a few restaurants nearby and not good ones. The mall in front of the hotel is under renovation, so only a few stores are working.

The food in the hotel restaurant was too expensive, and if your group is more than 5 people, you have to pay an additional service charge, it is better to sit at two tables of no more than 4 people. There are no supermarkets nearby and only one convenience store 1 km away that is not worth it. You have to walk a lot, but in Boston, if you don't stay downtown, you either take taxis or walk.

Perfect hotel stuff, perfect river view, perfect cleaning (especially perfect floor attendant)

Bad

Booked a one room for my family, was given two non adjoining rooms. Could not use it with a toddler and baby. Booked another hotel, was told I would be refunded. No one ever responded to my inquiries. Total nightmare

Disappointed...

The location was decent.

Our 4th of July stay at your hotel was a considerable disappointment. The room we initially received (room 921) had an unpleasant odor so strong that we immediately requested a change. We had booked a two-bed room with a river view, hoping to enjoy the fireworks, but were instead moved to a king room with a cot and only a partial view. There was no adjustment made to the price to reflect this downgrade. The cot was visibly unclean, seeming to have been pulled from storage. We had high expectations and unfortunately, our experience was far below the standard we anticipated from a hotel of your reputation.

Overpriced with nice view, great staff. Don't eat in the restaurant.

View was beautiful, the staff were excellent! Nice to see MIT graduates from there, but I felt like my stay was not very important because of it.

Room was nice enough with pretty decor and clean. The restaurant in the hotel was hot, chairs uncomfortable, drink I ordered tasted like salt water, food fair. No beans for latte and extra cost to park!

Royal So esta is perfect for overnight stays after an event at TD Garden which is within walking distance.

View, and location are at the top of the list. The lobby bloats welcoming elegance. Front desk representatives are calm and helpful. our room was decently lit by pulling back the curtains. Royal Sonesta makes it easy to travel with pets. The attached Parking Garage is quaint and fairly up-kept. The hotel is a small 23 minute walk to TD Gardens. perfect for overnight stays after an event.

Dog fee $75

I like the location, and the hotel itself was very nice and clean.

Since it is a pet friendly hotel we brought our dog with us and was hit with a $75 fee for it, that was our first unpleasant surprise. Second was the room itself; although clean and very nice it was small. The AC worked but only in one direction so one of us was freezing while the other one was sweating. The bed itself was very uncomfortable, we didn't get much sleep. I wish the hotel stuff at the check in and out would have told us about discounts on parking.
