clean and comfortable, but crowded

The pros: the place was clean and comfortable. The staff were polite and helpful. The location is convenient, right off the highway near Forest Park. We had the free breakfast one morning. The food was good, and they had plenty of hot options like eggs, sausage, potatoes, a waffle maker, etc which was nice.

I realized from Booking.com that this hotel is popular with families, which is why we booked it (we were on vacation for my 10 year old stepson's spring break). However it was absolutely overrun with families with young kids (our fault for coming over spring break, I realize). We had a king suite on the 1st floor and we could hear kids making noise and running up and down the hallway as early as 7 am (not really a problem for us since we were with a child ourselves, but something that other travelers should be aware of-- the place was full of kids, and kids make noise). I chose to stay here because of the pool and free breakfast; however the pool was constantly packed with kids, to the point where we never used it. It was just too crowded. On our first morning, the dining area was so packed that we went out for breakfast rather than try to fight through the crowds. We did manage to grab some free breakfast on the 2nd morning. Basically the hotel was so crowded that we never got to use the amenities that I had chosen the place for, so that was disappointing. But I don't blame the hotel for this since it was clearly a high occupancy period. I would just say, be aware that this place seems VERY popular with families, to the point where you will hear kids being loud, and you may struggle for access to things like the pool or the dining room, especially on school breaks. Also, we were charged $10/night for parking which was ridiculous given the cost of the room. The place was comfortable, but not fancy, and I found it overpriced for what it was. Our stay was fine, but I won't come back.

Great ! Would do it again!

The room fit our family well. The staff was nice and we loved the location

Pool was so over chlorinated that our eyes were burning and everyone was coughing. Didnt stay in very long. Rate seemed a little pricey once taxes and all of the other fees were added on

Good hotel and close to the zoo and restaurants.

The staff was friendly, breakfast was good. The beds were comfortable.

The pool could of been a little warmer. It was a little pricey and $10 a night to park is ridiculous. I would have stayed some place else where parking was free.

Great stay for attending concerts downtown!

Friendly Staff, delicious breakfast, comfortable beds, and there’s a fridge in the room.

Not near the “action”, but I did feel safe and it was worth the value vs. staying downtown for much more!

Great place to stay when visiting St Louis

Rooms were clean, easy free parking and location was fantastic. Breakfast was simple but very good. Staff were all super friendly and we loved the snack packs they passed out every morning. I will stay here again for sure next time I am in St Louis.

Very good

Check in was easy with friendly front desk staff. Free parking was great. Room was clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast had a good selection.

The A/C was very noisy! We were in room 605 and we could hear loud semi trucks on the interstate which was in front of the hotel. It was hard to sleep.

Convenient location

Breakfast was pretty good with a wide enough variety of choices to satisfy everybody. Our plan was to visit the zoo so location was excellent. Plenty of places to eat nearby as well.

The beds were certainly not the most comfortable so no one slept well. Cost of the room didn’t match up to what we expected/hoped.

Our stay was very relaxing.

It was very clean. The bed was comfortable and the staff was always eager to help.

The restaurant next door did not have enough choices. Burgers were their speciality. They charge if you want mayonnaise because they make it themselves. Burgers were not great.

Superb

The staff was great, very helpful and kept the place really clean during breakfast. The food was hot and well prepared, and wasn't the usual sugar and starch continental. There were several choices for coffee and all the accoutrements! Close to lots of great things to do close by so walking and driving our car (free parking on site) fit the bill for our transportation.

Very convenient for a family trip of 5 :)

Room was spacious for the five of us and very clean. Loved the breakfast options and the kids used the indoor pool in a rainy day (very conveniente).

I had read about the staff being super friendly, and that was not the case in our visit, but they were ok.

We were very happy with everything!

The hotel had wonderful staff, was clean, and the ladies running the morning breakfast were prompt and were always cleaning up after people. we will be staying here again.

Bed was stiff and tv was discolored but nothing to bad.

Over all a good experience.

Everything seemed to be clean. The staff was friendly. Breakfast was good.

I wish the bed had been softer and had a fluffy comforter or blanket. The beds are rather hard.

The front desk lady was very friendly and helpful. The pool was very clean and my grandson enjoyed it. Breakfast was hot and a good selection. Room was clean and comfortable. It had the extras that I needed for my disability. Also was great that there was an awesome burger joint in the parking lot.
