I cannot say enough about how wonderful this gorgeous and perfectly decorated mid century modern is! Everything about our visit was fantastic. Michael and Scott take care of everything! They communicate with you beforehand (as you need) and provide every possible detail in their guest binder – it makes the stay truly relaxing. The house is not only gorgeous, it is very well appointed with all of the supplies you’ll need – just add your own food. The backyard photos are legit! The pool and spa were lovely and the large backyard includes a fully functioning, outdoor kitchen, dining and living area. My husband and I stayed here with another couple and their adult daughter. We had plenty of room and enjoyed being able to cook together and hang out in the backyard. The location is convenient to everything and it is very quiet at night. We will definitely be returning!

My family of 3 stayed at this property over Thanksgiving. It was fantastic. The property was amazing. We enjoyed the careful mid-century mod details throughout the house. The pool and outdoor areas were perfect. We spent most days in the pool or the hot tub, staring up at San Jacinto mountain. The multiple outdoor areas (table for lunch with a covered roof, lounges by the pool for reading, etc.) were very nice. The couch in the living room was very comfortable, where we spent most of the rest of our days, curling up and watching tv or reading - also with a fantastic view of the mountains. I would highly recommend this place for those looking for a getaway to Palm Springs. The hosts also went above and beyond with lots of detailed information and a nice gift bag upon arrival!

We were all very impressed with how clean and beautiful the home and the outdoor landscape/pool area was. The minute we walked in, everyone was complimenting how much they liked it. This was a “rest and relax” vacation so of course the pool was the big draw. We all spent the day basking in the sun…..no clouds ever darkened the water!
I was already thinking about how soon I could return.
This house was a perfect vacation home! Thanks so much to the owners, Michael and Scott for making it such a nice and comfortable place to stay.

What a superb combination: Michael and Scott are thoughtful, generous hosts who attend to every possible detail, AND their home is beautiful, stylish, and immaculate, in wonderful location. Also, THE POOL. I could pile on the glowing adjectives, but don't want to leave out the sweet surprises, like kindness on arrival, TREATS, seriously helpful information, the best sheets ever, and a grapefruit tree. These hosts are gems, and so is this house.

Wonderful property and visit. House was immaculate as was the pool and cabana. Close to just about everything from a location perspective. Great household amenities and the kitchen has everything you need for cooking/serving. Super comfy beds and linens. Loved having coffee in the morning on the west side of the pool next to the citrus trees. Hosts were incredible with home-use instructions and communication throughout our stay. We'll be back!

This is by far the best rental house I’ve stayed in. The well-decorated house was spotless with everything you could need. Easy driving distance to uptown and downtown Palm Springs. This was our second vacation at this home. It is perfect for a relaxing and fun vacation. The hosts, Michael & Scott, go up and beyond in every way. The house, yard and pool are always spotless. We had a question, texted Michael and he got back to us within seconds! I would expect nothing less from them. We spent a wonderful week at this amazing property. The house is at the very end of a cul-de-sac, which was very quiet and had awesome views of the mountains from the back yard. The house and pool were sparkling clean when we arrived and was stocked with everything we could have ever needed. The décor is a very fun Mad Men TV show vibe with the mid-century modern furniture and art. We appreciated that the owners provided the pack of new pantry staples, laundry and dish detergent, etc. The beds were incredibly comfortable and it was nice to have the extra fluffy towels. There is a large outdoor cabana with dining table, comfy lounge chairs. There is also a nice BBQ and outdoor mini kitchen that we didn’t make use of since we went out for most of our meals. There is a grapefruit tree and orange tree, and the oranges were ripe during our stay so it was a fun perk to pick fresh fruit! The owners were so communicative and even provided us with recommendations for things to do and see before we arrived. We were able to check in early which was fantastic for us. We will definitely be back! Thank you Michael and Scott for everything!

Michael and Scott have done an amazing job creating a vacation rental that makes you feel as if you are staying at a good friend's home. The pictures on the website accurately portray the beauty of the property, however they don't prepare you for the outstanding service. From the first interactions with Michael and Scott I was incredibly impressed. We received a informative welcome package prior to our trip which allowed us to do some planning. The amenities provided were above and beyond the usual VRBO rentals. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need to create incredible gourmet meals, the linens were top of the line and the beds super comfortable. Michael and Scott are so incredibly generous and make you feel like a treasured guest. I will absolutely revisit this beautiful home and encourage everyone looking to visit Palm Springs to stay at this amazing home.

Our stay at the Desert Holly was incredible. We have a 1 year old and we’re looking for something private with a pool for my daughter’s first birthday. This beautiful, well-appointed house and property has everything you need (and more) for a relaxing time in Palm Springs. It is very well maintained, with every supply you can think of. The pool and well-shaded outdoor areas were wonderful to hang out in the summer heat. The indoor living space was clean, with ample space for a family. We loved our time there!

This was our second time staying at the Desert Holly House, and it was exactly what we remembered: the quiet neighborhood, the easy access to downtown, the larger-than-average pool and terrific outdoor space. The house itself is in impeccable shape - beautiful pool and yard area. This place is just fantastic. Exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully updated. My partner and I brought our two little girls (4 and 7) and my mother (>65) down for 5 nights, and the place performed beautifully.
Great beds, comfy linens, great towel service... the house is beautifully decorated while maintaining a homelike aesthetic.
The pool was in great working order, and the hosts were so kind to leave some little pool toys and gifts that made their week. There were other pool toys around too to keep the kids in constant entertainment. The property is very well maintained and the outdoor spaces are a pleasure to use.
With little ones in tow, we did most of our meals at home, and both the indoor and outdoor kitchen amenities were in meticulous repair and well equipped without being cluttered. The appliances were very nice to look at and to cook on.
The house is nicely situated in Palm Springs, very close to downtown and the airport. Downtown is accessible easily on foot and by car. The neighbourhood is quiet and pleasing to walk around in. Lots of 50's modern houses and desert oriented gardens to oogle over.
Michael and Scott are very attentive to their guests, and provided a glut of information on everything from the history of the neighborhood and the house, to recommendations for activities, dining out, shopping... everything really. They even mailed us an information package about a week that they have personally curated. They are incredibly responsive to queries and any issues with the house.
All in all, we had a fantastic little COVID-breakout family holiday here, and the house served as the centrepiece.
I can't recommend this rental enough. Book it, take a good read through Michael and Scott's recommendations for things to do and places to eat, and have a great holiday.

Fantastic home, don't hesitate to book
We can't rate our experience high enough..... the home was superb in every way! Located at the end of a quiet residential cul-de-sac, it was extremely well maintained and immaculately clean. We loved the thoughtful decor that reflected the mid century theme. The pool was large and nicely heated.The outdoor kitchen and space was also great.
Michael and Scott were wonderful hosts, again we can't rate these guys high enough!!!They were extremely attentive to our every need and so genuine and sincere in their wish for their clients to have the best possible experience.
They kindly mailed us all the information you would need about PS ahead of our visit, the welcome card and gifts left for us at the house, were a lovely thought and they went above and beyond to make sure everything was just perfect for us...
We can't fall;t the home or hosts in anyway! We will definitely be back next year.

The house was the perfect size for our group and was the ideal getaway during yet another Covid wave. Prior to arriving, I wondered, could the property really be as good as all the reviews say? The answer is yes. The owners keep the house in pristine condition -- it was sparkling clean when we arrived, and the furnishings, appliances, housewares, etc. are all top-notch and perfectly organized. We enjoyed all the spaces, indoor and outdoor (particularly the beautifully maintained pool and spa), as well as the stunning views of the mountains. Everything about this property has been thought through from a guest's perspective (e.g., closet set-up, complimentary items, etc.) and questions answered (e.g., how to light the gas fireplaces; how to start the hot tub; etc.) through comprehensive materials sent by the owners in advance and a guidebook provided on-site. We relied almost exclusively on the owners' recommendations for places to dine as well as their guide to visiting the Joshua Tree National Park and were never disappointed. We used their recommended grocery store to place a curbside pickup order prior to arrival, which was so convenient. The arrival/check-in process worked perfectly and communication with the owners was a pleasure. I can't say enough about this property and our stay there. A truly terrific overall experience!

Desert Holly Perfection!
We had a fabulous stay at Michael and Scott's lovely home. As many know, a guest's overall experience begins in the early phases of booking, and carries through to the end of your stay- Michael and Scott from my experience are the perfect hosts from beginning to end! Additionally, we so enjoyed the home. Beyond clean and organized-- and the pool and spa are fantastic- perfectly heated! We would highly recommend this home to others who are looking to book in PS.

This was the best vacation! This was our first VRBO experience and it was outstanding! From the beginning to the end the communication with the owners was terrific and we never felt that we couldn’t contact them at anytime. When you talk to Michael and Scott it’s like they are old friends.

This beautiful home had everything you could need inside and outside. I can’t say enough about how wonderful everything was…. We were greeted with welcome packets and information on everything and anything you would need to know about the house. Even every light switch was marked. The beds were soooo comfortable! The kitchen had everything you could need. Outside, well outside was outstanding! The pool and hot tub were the perfect temperature. There wasn’t a day we weren’t in them! The furniture was comfortable and I guess so was the outside rocking chair that my 86 year old parents LOVED!
This couldn’t have been a better retirement celebration for us and a 69th wedding anniversary for my parents!
