This was the perfect pace for our large family holiday. Huge very comfortable mansion with beautiful views. Nearby skiing. Hot tub sunrise and sunset views. Sauna. Steam room. Foosball. Theater room. Park 4 cars in garages. Elevators and cart for unloading and loading (take care with cart not to block the interior elevator doors). Fantastic kitchen. Fun hardware/sporting store in town near Safeway, and two cute thrift stores. Says more about my family than this awesome mansion.

Our family reunion of 18 people had a fabulous experience! We loved that the house was so spread out. The sauna, steam room, hot tub and movie theatre were great and enjoyed by all. The kitchen and dining wete perfect for our large group. The views are spectacular and we loved being on top of the world. Thank you for the lovely experience and wonderful memories.

Lake Tahoe, Donner Lake and Truckee were as advertised. Absolutely an awesome vacation. This place was great no one was on top of each other. Had plenty of space for all of us. I never took so many pictures of sunrises. Each mornings sunrise was more beautiful than the day before.

My family and I decided to book a vacation home with VRBO to spend time with the family. Also, my cousin from GA was in town so it was nice to have our family gathering here with the amazing amenities. All of the adults and kiddos had plenty of space to hang out. The kids love the theater room while the adults hang out in the jacuzzi. The only down fall is that there’s no screen doors or screen windows throughout the house, which made it difficult to have them opened as this house does not have AC. Also, two of the rooms had misquotes and dead insects on the beds when we were ready for bedtime on day one. There’s a broken jacuzzi on the deck which is kind of odd. The kitchen chairs are wobbly, which is a bit dangerous. We moved the chairs to one side so it doesn’t break when someone is sitting on it. Also, it appears that the house next door is another VRBO rental, they were super loud during quiet time and made it difficult for the people who slept on the lower level of the house. Overall, we had a good time with the family. I would recommend this rental property but hope the owner put some new furnishing as most of them are well used.

We really enjoyed staying at the house! It was perfect for our large group. There were so many gathering areas and it was well stocked with everything we needed. There is only one hot tub now, but it was very clean and when there was a small issue with it, property management was quick to help me troubleshoot it and get it working again. The elevator was great for those in our group who couldn’t navigate the many stairs. We would definitely stay here again.

The property was perfect for a large group. Plenty of space so never felt crowded. The views were awesome and love the movie theater. Kids watched lots of movies and did a slide show for celebration of life. We could not of picked a better home.

Our group included 7 kids (aged 17 - 6). They loved exploring every nook and cranny of this massive home and ending the evenings making s’mores in the fire pit and then watching movies together in the theater. The adults particularly enjoyed the steam room, playing cards on the large decks, and enjoying meals together in the large kitchen/dining area. Having multiple dishwashers, washing machines and dryers came in handy for our party of 16.
One family member in our party is confined to a wheelchair which is why we selected this home for our stay. It is the only place we found in the Tahoe/ Truckee area for a group of our size that was advertised as being accessible. The elevators worked well allowing him to access each floor and to participate in all the festivities. The doorways were wide and accommodated his wheelchair while the shower attached to the bedroom had zero entry and accessible features. The only thing lacking for us to give this home a 5 star rating for accessibility was there are no grab rails, particularly, in the bathrooms attached to the “accessible” bedrooms. Otherwise, we had no complaints and we would love to stay again.

I'll skip the standard review, you can read that from others... This is about the accessibility features of this property for those looking for details . 2 Elevators. 1st elevator from the garages to the conference level and then to the main floor. 2nd elevator from the main floor directly to a mid floor bedroom and then down to the bottom level with the movie theater. Elevators are a bit tight but were big enough for a large manual wheelchair plus caregiver. On the lower floor the elevator opens on both sides but one side has a narrower door that was not wide enough for wheelchair. We had to move furniture in the theater to get wheelchair access to the rest of the lower level. Accessibility to upper deck level with about a one inch threshold. Mid level deck required a step down of a few inches. Two accessible bathrooms on the mid level have true roll in showers with ample space for a bath chair. One has a roll-up sink. Mid level bedroom with direct elevator access has extra open space making for easy maneuverability. Loft, lower level fire pit and separate apartment over garage are not accessible. Hard floors and tight weave carpets make wheeling easy. A few tight spots where we had to move furniture a bit to get access but mostly plenty of space. Overall excellent accessibility for our purposes.

We had a large group and this house was perfect for us. Plenty of space to spread out while also having plenty of large, common, areas. Hot tub/sauna/steam room were perfect after a long day on the slopes. Host is very welcoming and responsive. Would definitely stay here again!

This place was amazing! It was enormous and could accommodate our large party very comfortably. The amenities were an extra bonus that we have never experienced and welcomed.
It’s a large space so expect to get your excercise. But the different areas to hang out allowed everyone (kids and adults) to have their space and we could still break up into smaller groups. There’s an awesome bar area w many TVs, I would assume to watch sports. Even a tv w a live cam of ski area. Sidebar - we never used them but they were labeled.
Washing machines galore. Fireplace kept the place warm but there were multiple heating zones anyway. There’s even a conference/work room we saw but didn’t use.
If y are traveling through the snow you must have 4wd or chains. We had both and our car got stuck going up but we traveled mid storm, not just snow it was winter warning. We had to abandon our car so be aware.

We stayed at the Aishling Lodge for an annual friends and family ski vacation. The compound is perfect for multiple families to stay comfortably, and has all the entertainment to keep you busy. No real need to go out, just stock up, the bar is downstairs! The cleaning team worked diligently even after a 6ft dump of snow and roads had just been cleared. Be ready it is a bit of a drive up to the house and Tahoe Donner area and roads can be challenging in winter. We would definitely stay again with a big group!

The lodge was perfect for our large group of 20+ family members ranging from 1mo to elders! It was well equipped for a group of our size in space and amenities, and still allowed for each individual family to have their own space. We definitely got our workouts in going up and down the stairs! We hope to stay again in the future!

The house was absolutely beautiful and well equipped for either a personal friends and family destination, or a meeting place like we used it for. The conference room is well equipped for all A V presentations. Elle was very helpful throughout the whole process and we look forward to returning next year!

We had a great weekend at this property, it is large and appointed well. Large decks for outdoor conversion and plenty of room if you want to sneek off for a mid day nap. We will be back!

Large and Fun place. Everything was lovely. Only concern was that the refrigerator was too wimpy to cool room temp water in 24 hrs.

Amazing home with a gorgeous view. We stayed here with our business associates. Home comfortably fit 20 of us. Sadly before the trip i had injured my knee and was unable to walk without a huge brace and crutches. But the elevator in the home made it so easy to get around. Property manager Elle was very polite and even helped us to get an early check in. Amazing amazing amazing. Thank you for such great care and service.

Amazing Stay
This was the perfect spot for a large group of friends. The house is large enough that you don’t feel crammed with a big group. The views are absolutely stunning and the jacuzzi is perfect to relax and watch the sunset. Communication was easy and I always got quick responses from the host. I would definitely recommend this house!
