Villa Playa is a magnificent villa situated in front of the beach in Palma de Mallorca on a plot of 1.200 m2. 10 minutes from the airport and 10 minutes from the city center, is located in an ideal location for a relaxing holiday in Mallorca with all amenities at your fingertips: quiet and safe, with a street of restaurants of all kinds (the one in front of the house is Villa del Mar), bars, and 2 supermarkets 5 minutes walk. With breathtaking views, Villa Playa has a large garden with pool with sun loungers and a balinese bed to enjoy the sun on the island. It also has a front and rear porch with a table tennis table. It has a poolside barbecue for meals and holiday dinners and 5 bikes to enjoy the promenade along the bay of Palma whose bike path runs right between the villa and the beach and going right allows travel 10 km going by the cathedral (km 5), and going to the left also about 10 km to get to Arenal. Close has a bus stop (15) that very often in a few minutes takes you to the center of Palma. It offers free internet access, heating, air conditioning and a cot and baby chair. Access to park your cars inside. It has a very cozy part, with a dining room, with direct access to the pool and two double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. The other part is more modern and has two double rooms and one single, a kitchen with an island and direct access to the terrace, a spacious living room with a balcony overlooking the sea from where you can watch the sunset at dusk. and an upper terrace with chill out. It also has Wi-Fi and air conditioning. Furthermore, it also has got 4 TV's, 3 of them with satellite TV to watch international channels, 2 washing machines and a two dryers, filtered water... For more than 6 guests there is an additional charge per person per day.

Bernat and Marga were wonderful, and they provided us a warm champaign greeting. The property is next to a nice beach with various restaurants and grocery stores within a 5-minute walk. We enjoyed the pool, riding the bikes, using the outdoor grill, and some Netflix movies on the big screen late at night. Ten minute drive to Palma or the airport, and the villa is spacious, clean and comfortable.

Honestly don’t know where to begin.Bernat and marga were wonderful hosts. Upon arrival at the villa the whole family was greeted with a cold drink and cakes ( which by the way were delicious). After being shown around we were left to settle in. The villa is made up of 2 houses together. House 2 was modern and house 1 a little more traditional. Both lovely and perfectly equipped with everything you could possibly need for the the duration of your stay. There was air conditioning throughout also which was great as we were staying in a humid 34/35 degree heat. The pool was just the right size and the hosts provided plenty of towels too. There was also an outside shower and toilet which we found very convenient .As we spent all of our time outside both in the day and at night, it really helped to have so much in the way of seating. Lots of different places to sit or lie and relax and again lots of shaded areas to protect us from the sun too! My son loved the Bali bed. The villa had stunning views of the beach and was situated so that all you had to do was walk out of the villa gate, cross a path and there you were! Was within walking distance of lots of shops and supermarkets so we were able to stock up on food and drink very easily. Restaurants, there were too many to choose from, but the ones we went to catered perfectly to families. It really was a home from home and one we could find no fault in! In a nut shell, great location-close to the Airport, 100m from the beach, surrounded by great restaurants, 6 bikes for getting around, met on arrival, cake and drinks. Great villa, well equipped. Great support from the hosts. An amazing time!

We were totally 9 persons( 3 mums and 6 teenage daughters). The house many bathrooms and bedrooms so it never felt crowded. We loved the pool area and the many different places we could hang around. It was only 5 min walk to two different supermarkets and the public bus to Palma. The beach just outside the house was very nice.
It was a nice walk and bike road just outside the house all the way to Palma. The house was in a quiet and safe area so our teenager could walk home from the bus in nighttime.
The owners was so friendly and helpful. They helped us when one of our girls had to go the hospital.
We could really recommend to rent this house if you want a nice and relaxed holiday .

The perfect house for a luxurious stay with family/larger group. The house is divided into two parts, which means two kitchens, two laundry rooms etc. This was perfect for us since we travelled with five younger adults who had their own space. Each bedroom has its own bathroom which was also great. The pool area and patio were well equipped, and everything was very clean upon our arrival.
The house is within walking distance to Palma, many restaurants nearby and the beach right across the street.
The hosts were wonderful and very accommodating during our stay. They greeted us when we arrived, showed us the house and were quick to answer any questions we had during our stay. Would really recommend renting this house if you are traveling to Mallorca, we would definitely wish to come back here!

Great Holiday 2019
The property was exactly what we needed, right next to beach with swimming pool and great accomodation, two kitchens as two seperate houses so twice what we needed which meant that the family could co-exist without feeling we were in each others pockets so actually perfect for large groups as we were 8 7 Adults and 2 Children, Owners made everything work from letting us check our luggage in early and leave late to even helping us with mundane details such as booking taxis, they bent over backwards to make us feel at home, nothing was a problem, we could text or email them and they would get right back to us. The arrival explanations and a lovely touch of some Cava and traditional Majorcan cake went down very well, excellant first class hosts, we had a super time and would recommend this to anyone, location, facilities and in fact everything was perfect for us.

Perfection
We stayed here in June 2019 as part of a family holiday. 10 people in total, including 4 kids under 3. We can not recommend this place enough. Perfect location to Palma old town and a nice location right next to the beach. The property is perfect for families and very spacious across both houses. The owners did everything for us including providing us with 3 cots, 3 high chairs and a bed side for our 3 year old. We had a small issue while there with a door but the owners took care of it and had it fixed within an hour. I can not recommend this property enough. We will one day be returning I'm sure. Thank you once again

Fantastic villa, great location
We had a great holiday. There was plenty of room for the 8 of us and we loved all the outside space especially the pool. The villas were clean and very well equipped. The location next to the beach, close to ice cream bars and places to eat, as well as the local supermarkets meant we did not need to hire a car. We enjoyed using the bikes provided to ride along the path next to the beach. We would highly recommend this property.

Alquilamos las dos casa para ir con mi familia y todo fue excelente. Mucho mejor de lo que esperabamos, con muchos buenos detalles. Las casa estan muy bien y en frente de la playa.

Fantastic family holiday
We were a family of eleven with ages ranging from sixty to a one year old baby, the villa is extremely well equipped and spotlessly clean, the pool area and terraces are equally well presented, perhaps a hand rail into the pool may be a good idea, any minor issue was immediately dealt with and the owners and management do everything in their power for you to have a nice relaxing break.

Wunderful location, 15 min per bicycle ( Up to 7 available - very good condition) to Arenal left turn or Palma Right Turn. well out of the door and 10 m to Beach. 500 m to Shopping. But more to mention is the Housing. very very clean, everything available for a Great Holiday - You don't miss anything. wunderful housing combination Pool Barbecue area etc. thanks we enyoyed very much. Didn't want to leave!
I went with my family as a group of 11 and we could not have had a better time. There was acres of space to be able to relax by yourself, and loads of entertainment on offer like ping pong, PlayStation, TV, bicycles, board games, Lilos... the list goes on. Stunning villas which were really well equipped for cooking etc, great location and thoroughly enjoyed the roof terrace which offers all day sun. Will definitely try to return in the future, thanks so much

The two small beach restaurant opposite were good for an inexpensive lunch/dinner and one does breakfast, but there are some lovely restaurants on the front going in both directions, our meal at The Portixol Hotel was our favourite and worth booking a few days ahead.

At arrival she made sure that we had a nice welcome as she met us in person with cava and cake. The house was absolutely perfect, with modern and classy design. It is situated at the beach, and a 15-20 min. bike ride to Palma centre. It is several bikes at the house, so you'll have everything you need. The house did not lack a thing. Very well equipped with everything from beach chairs, toys, kitchen tools, barbeque, pool, ping pong table, sunbeds etc. We vere 6 adults and 1 child, and still 1 bedroom we didn't use. Nice and big, with several different hang-out zones. The house is also very child friendly with possibilities to put up a fence around the pool. One thing that is not so well communicated in the ad, is that the house is divided in two separat parts, one older and one modern and luxurious. Both parts were great though, with good standards. The older part might be a bit more child friendly as the modern part has a steep stairway without handles (very nice though) :). I would absolutely reccomend this house as it kept its promises, and looked even better real life than the photos. Laura is an amazing host and took good care of us. I will definetely come back as soon as possible!

GREAT LOCATION!
We were a family of 9 (9 months to 64 years old) from The Netherlands staying in Villa Playa in May 2016.
The big plus of the villa is the location. Absolutely perfect! The beach, the boardwalk, restaurants, car rent and bike rent (if you need more bikes) and supermarkets nearby. The really great city Palma 15-20 minutes away with bicycle or 45-50 minutes walking distance (very nice walk).
As for the villa itself. We were at first a bit disappointed, because it’s not one villa but two separated houses with no connection door inside. Both houses are very well equipped and clean.
House nr. 2 (the modern house) is absolutely 5 stars. Tastefully decorated and a lot of space.
We believe house nr. 1 (the old house) is between 3 and 4 stars, because it’s smaller, has less luxury ambiance and there were ants in the kitchen. We had to keep all food in the fridge.
So totally for the villa 4 stars. I know I’m fussy, but not intending to be negative. Everyone in our group, young and old, had a wonderful time! We all enjoyed using the swimming-pool, bikes, table-tennis, pool toys, barbecue, etcetera…………….
Laura gave us a warm welcome and the owners are very kind and service minded.

Excellent villa in a lovely location
We were a family of 10 staying in the villa. It is situated only 20 mins from Palma airport and we received a very warm welcome from Laura and the owner. The villa was very well equipped and clean. We spent slot of time by the pool relaxing and the beach is very nice just across the road. Palma is easy to get to either on the bikes provided or you can take the bus. There is an excellent butchers nearby and we had a lot of barbecues. We would highly recommend the villa and would return. Thank you for making our holiday so nice.

Extremely positive stay in the house
The house was fully living up to the description and even exceeded our expectations.
We were three generations (2 years old to 70 years old) staying in the house. We were well received and all instructions given. The house was very clean, and well arranged with all necessary equipment available.. We only needed to purchase (supermarket 200 meters away) and cook the food. The swimming pool was wonderful and most time was spent here even though the sea is only 50 meters away. The bicycles was used for several trips (3,5 kms) to Palma. The response to questions and service was very fast. It was an outstanding positive experience and we will without hesitation recommend this house to others (family, friends etc.) and we have allready considered to come back to the house

Fabulous sea view villa with large pool area
We were 6 adults and four children between 4 months and 70 years who spent a fabulous week in this well planned, relaxing and tidy Villa. When arriving at the Villa, after our flight from Stockholm, we were welcomed by the rental manager, Laura and the Landlord who served something to drink, local pastry and showed us the property. This was appreciated and a perfect start to the week. The Villa is just by the ocean and 50 meters away is the boardwalk and a sandy beach. The days were spent around the pleasant pool area which was quite large so all could be there at the same time. A very popular activity was to take one of the many bikes that came with the Villa and go for a ride at the boardwalk to the city Palma. Palma was less than 30 minutes away with bicycle. There are plenty of historical sites in Palma and the church La Seu must be seen. You will also be more than satisfied if you like shopping or just like to stroll in the old town, have a coffee or something to eat.
Everyone in our party, young and old, were delighted with the stay and I can really recommend the Villa. What really made this Villa stand out were the kind and helpful owners and the rental manager, Laura.

Fantastic villa, great neighborhood
We have stayed in lots of nice places all over the world, and are very careful about finding the very best hotels and vacation rentals (we are fussy New Yorkers), and I will definitely say Villa Playa is right up there with the best. The positive surprise was how nice the neighborhood is - authentically Spanish (I don't recall seeing any non-Spanish tourists), with excellent seafood restaurants (recommend casa fernando) and bars within 5 mins walk.
We were 5 adults and 2 kids. We all enjoyed the pool, the outdoor grill was great, the different outdoor eating areas were perfect, the different parts of the villa for sunbathing (seating area in the shade or a lounger in the full on sun) gave a choice whatever your preference was. AC was excellent throughout. The more modern part of the villa is very tastefully decorated as is the older part of the villa, which gives a separate equally fully-equipped kitchen if you need (we all just used the kitchen in the modern part of the villa). All the beds, bedrooms and bathrooms were spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable.
The villa is 10 - 12 mins taxi ride or bus journey to Palma (or very nice 30 min walk) if you want to visit a really great city (we prefer it to Barcelona). The beach opposite the villa is not crowded like other beaches and there was Kayak and Paddle Boarding available.
Equipment in the house is great - lots of pool toys, plenty of bikes, full-size outdoor table tennis.
Finally - Laura (who welcomed us) and Bernat (owner - who we met when ever we needed help with anything, which was not often), are wonderful people. Their only concern is that you have a great holiday. They truly could not be nicer people.

Wonderful villa on the beach!
The villa
The villa is even better and feels a lot larger than in the pictures on the website.
In fact it can be considered to be two villas, since each section comes with its own living room and kitchen. Indeed it would be perfect for two families J
The villa was fully stocked with everything we could want from household items to leisure items like beach toys, ping pong table, playstation, tv and 7(!) bicycles. It even had a well-stocked emergency kit with band aids and what not.
The garden/swimming pool
The garden area is very large with two eating areas and a wonderful swimming pool. The swimming pool is great for old and young, but it is approx 1.20 deep, so small children should be watched.
The location
The location is just about perfect. It is placed in a relatively quiet residential area. Literally only 5-10 meters to the beach. The area contains a few shops for food and a few restaurants. It is only a 4 km lovely bicycle ride into Palma town for all that other sightseeing & shopping. If you ride the other way between 4-7 km you will reach more touristy areas with a higher party factor. In general we found that bicycling was the best way to get around, since everything is flat along the coastline.
The service
The service was excellent from everything regarding the booking and paying, to the wonderful welcome by Laura offering bubbly Cava and a local Mallorcan pastry. Both she and the owners were very nice and helpful.

beatiful place near the beach
Me and my friends had a very nice staying. The house was very big and good to be in . We had played golf in good courses near Palma. The pool and the garden was very nice. Laura our contact has beeb very friendly and nice and service minded to us. I would lika to come back and I;ve already yalkt a lot about the place with friends in my homeland Sweden.

Amazing villa and location
The villa was even better than in pictures and the location is perfect; just outside is beach and a wonderful hotel with excellent restaurant. The villa itself is tranquil haven with beautiful bedrooms. There were already lots of beach toys for children and other beach equipment. We also got excellent service. Our group consisted of six adults and four children (ages between 5 and 0), there would have been room for one or two more persons if we would have used upstairs living room as bedroom. I wish to come back some day!

ABSOLUTE PERFECTION.....
Absolutely everything about this property is magnificent! I almost dont want to write such a great review, because then i will never be able to book it again, if it gets so popular!!! I am in the travel business and have stayed at many very exclusive villas and so my expectations are quite high, and this by no means disapointed in any aspect.
First of all, a great thanks to Laura, for the ease and professionalism in handling the booking, deposits and answering all of my thousand questions, always promptly and full of details. You are a wonderful person to work with.. and meeting you in person along with the owners... was a warm and welcome greeting into the villa.
As for the villa, well totally equipped with more than anyone could possibly used, and every little detail was there, and functioning. The new renovation was exceptional, and cant say enough about the comfort and location of the villa. We used it all, the BBQ, the lounges, the rooftop decks, the kitchens, the bicycles, and most of all, the pool! Being directly in front of the ocean was fantastic and yet we felt so safe and secure, and the gorgeous residential area, is quite exclusive..
Easy access to the stores, to the buses, the promenade, all within stones throw.. we went into town, both walking and with the bus.. took outings all around the island, and easy to get to everything, right from the villa. Being 10 minutes from the airport was great, and never once disturbed from the flights... was truly amazing and the trip of a lifetime.
Everyone of the 8 of us, thank you and Bernat and his sister for their letting us use their lovely homes... We cant wait to come back!
