We cannot wait to visit Guanajuato again and stay at Casa Rofo!

We had an exceptional stay at Casa Rofo. Omar was so attentive and kind, answered all of our questions and provided such a clean environment. He made a delicious breakfast which we enjoyed on the rooftop, overlooking the city. Also, if you need a ride anywhere, he has a wonderful contact.

Just be informed that the walk to/from town is a steep one, yet very enjoyable. We enjoyed it!

除了地点比较难找（Uber的定位是错误的），旅馆门面非常小，其他都是非常好的住宿体验。车可以开到旅馆门口，旅馆有一个很漂亮的阳台，可以眺望皮皮拉山和大学，以及几乎所有的瓜纳华托景观。因为要早走，第二天房东很早就为我们做了早饭，咖啡牛奶水果和松饼，也帮我们叫了计程车（90比索就到汽车站！）。此外，有洗澡的热水，有咖啡壶，也有矿泉水，且能步行到所有主要景点。我觉得很超值，完全没必要去什么网红，如果不是对房间布置要求比较高是完全没问题的。【最后一张图不小心点错了但不知道怎么删除】

Die Unterkunft ist sowei ok, aber es gibt viele Kleinigkeiten, die besser gemacht werden könnten.

Aussicht von der Dachterrasse. Überaus freundliche Gastgeber.

Man sieht, dass Arbeiten der Instandhaltung und Renovierung von schlechter Qualität sind, z. B. Farbkleckse auf Fensterscheiben und Fußböden, Eckfugen von Wand und Boden ungleichmäßig und rau. Der Putz von der Decke im Bad hat schon Beulen und wird bald abfallen. Die Toilette war am Boden undicht, das wurde notdürftig repariert mit mäßigem Erfolg.

Amazing Location and Beautiful Hosts

The view from our bedroom and rooftop terrace was incredible - you can watch the sunrise over the city in the morning and then watch it come to life and the lights turn on while having sundowners! Omar and Jacquie were wonderful hosts and so helpful - and the breakfasts were delicious! Also if you need a driver, Omar’s cousin Guillermo is fantastic - highly recommend - he drove us to San Miguel de Allende but was happy to stop along the way for us to sightsee and shop in Dolores Hidalgo plus other highlights on the way As mentioned in other reviews - yes it is a steep climb up the lane to Casa Rofo but the whole city is built on steep slopes - you can catch an Uber or Taxi for very little - and yes quick showers (Guanajuato has water shortages) Really loved everything about Casa Rofo - an unforgettable experience

Omar and his wife are super nice

Omar和他的妻子人都非常好很乐于助人酒店的景色非常美我的建议是不需要再坐缆车去山顶了景色是一样的可以在酒店看着景色吃早餐没必要花70比索去坐缆车了他们做的早餐是松饼和咖啡非常美味强烈推荐

这是一家位于山上的民宿所以需要步行或者打车去市中心旋转楼梯有点窄另外在房间里发现了虫子有点吓人但是Omar很快及时响应来帮助我了非常感谢他的帮助这在墨西哥的房子里是难免的我非常理解这一点

Great host, great place, great value.

We particularly loved the rooftop deck. It was a perfect location for breakfast and it offered stunning daytime and nighttime views. We also thought Omar was an exceptional host. He was kind, outgoing, friendly and helpful. He went out of his way to accommodate us. Our room was on the third floor, which is accessed by a spiral staircase. We’re in our 70s and Omar insisted on carrying our luggage up and down. He arranged for transportation to the airport. In fact, Omar was one of, if not the, best hosts we’ve experienced in our many years of travel. Also, the property is in a good location, approximately 10 minutes to town. It’s partway up a steep hill which we enjoyed climbing after dinner as it gave us exercise, a photo opportunity to send our kids and a means to experience what life is like for people who live here.

淋浴的水太小，要等6分钟水才热，而且也不是很热。女人几乎没法洗头发，只能匆匆的淋浴一下。刷牙的水池也很小，几乎无法凑近。要漏到水池外面来。

テラスからの眺めが最高でした。宿までは中心地から坂道を上って大体7〜8分くらいかかりますが、その価値があるほど素敵な宿でした。お部屋も清潔で、スタッフの方もとても親切でした。

I enjoyed my brief stay at Casa Rofo (3 nights).

This hotel has a breath-taking view of Guanajuato's old town. I love to sit on the rooftop day-dreaming.

I wish I was younger to climb the spiraling staircase.

The best Guanajuato Local Experience

Small house in Guanajuato. Omar is an amazing host, cooking a special breakfast just for you. He is super attentive and will make you feel at home. The room has a fridge and he offers some water as well. This is the authentic Guanajuatean experience.

There is no water pressure so very little water comes out of faucets and showers, but this is a problem of all Guanajuato due to water availability.

Charming, clean bed and breakfast hotel. Omar, the owner, was incredibly kind and accommodating. The daily breakfast was delicious. The rooftop view is incredible!

Our room did not have AC.

Affordable, great view, attentive host. Will come back if I visit beautiful Guanajuato again

Awesome view of city from above Very attentive, thoughtful, and accommodating host. There are less than 5 rooms in the facility, so you get Omar’s full attention. Quiet at night 5 min walk from the city Host can speak intermediate level English

No AC, night can be a little hot in the summer. It’s on a high hill, which comes with fantastic view of the city, but that means walking up a looong incline from the city. It’s a good workout.

It was a very nice place, with few shortcomings. We would stay there again if kitchen worked.

Breakfast was excellent. Omar, the host was excellent. Location of Casa Rofo and view from mirador superb. Room was pretty clean. Our king bed was comfortable.

Parking is difficult. We had a room with a kitchen, which we wanted, but there was nothing available in the kitchen! No pans, no silverware, no glasses. The kitchen should not even be mentioned if it is not going to be made available to the guest?

A warm, caring, unforgettable place in the magic town!

The host was so warm, kind and friendly! The location is fantastic especially for the mornings and evenings to have a good view of the town. The breakfast was so good!! You can eat it based on your own schedule, just tell the host the time you would like to have!

Breathtaking view. Glad we stayed here.

The view is second to none. The host was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was comfortable and I slept great. It was a great value for the price.

Beautiful view from the terrace good breakfast tastefully presented in the terrace Attentive staff ( owners) clean towels on a daily basis bed linen changed every other day

narrow spiral stairs to go to our rooms and the terrace Windows were not clean Very basic room facilities accommodation on upper floors is only suitable for fit people luggage needs to be small because of narrow stairs

strongly suggest to family come with kids or couple.

The location is good. The price to have a good view is go uphill every day in around 8 mins. But I guarantee you it really worthy. The breakfast of this hotel is 6 star! We stay 4 nights, 4 days breakfast never repeat! The service is professional with smile.

Probably the water is little problem as it take a few mins to warm up, but to be honest, it won't bother us and compare with all other good points, we don't mind. The room is not luxury, not still cozy.

Splendid view from the root-top, good price

- hospitality of the host, very kind and with a lot of recomandations - great terasse to take breakfast and enjoy the splendid panoramic view of Guanajuato! - the good price - on top on a hill, but close to down town

- Only 6 mins of hot shower per day - we could hear a lot of noise during the night (some cars, and dogs and cats), so not the best night of sleep

Omar cooks a marvelous breakfast (something special every day), served on the patio with a beautiful view of the city. It's an amazing experience to be cared for on your vacation or whatever brings you to Guanajuato.

everything is gorgeous, the rooftop, the view the staff all amazing. WiFi is great for video call.

Only one thing is the hot water, for room upstairs you hardly get hot enough water. Would recommend shower around 3-5pm to shower.

Amazing view

everything is superb, especially the host and the terrace. Nothing beats a delicious breakfast with amazing panoramic view of this colorful city. within walkable distance to the city centre. Host very friendly and thoughtful and let us store the luggage. Easy check in and check out. We had a lovely time in Guanajuato.

Excellent mountain view

The hotel is on the top mountain with excellent view. It fits for someone needs quite environmental for sleeping. The manager provided clear instructions for travel around the small town and he was very helpful and resolved my urgent issues.
