Situated in Mammoth Lakes, this charming condo for $620 per night is a great option for your next trip. This 3 bedroom, 3 bath penthouse condo is on the top floor (has the highest ceilings on top floor) of the White Mountain Lodge. Situated within The Village and facing out over the main plaza, it offers amazing panoramic views of Mammoth, the surrounding mountains, and The Village. Not shadowed by the other complex or surrounding buildings, this location receives full winter sun all day for beautiful warmth and light, and light without the direct sun in the summer months. This location has something for everyone. The Gondola is only 54 steps away for immediate access to the mountain for skiing and snowboarding in the winter months. In the warmer months, you can access paved or unpaved biking and hiking trails right across from The Village! The paved pathways go for miles, circling around lakes and streams with amazing scenery and a variety of stops. in the summer months the bike back trail from the main lodge is wonderful! Enjoy a nice picnic overlooking the lake, rent kayaks and boats for some afternoon fishing, or go for a swim in a beautiful lake. You can also drive or shuttle to mountain biking via the main gondola on Mammoth Mountain. If you’re looking for a break from the adrenaline you can relax (or play) in the Village heated pool, enjoy shopping, restaurants (11 plus restaurants within 1 block), breweries & distilleries (3 within 1 block), spa, and entertainment all at your doorstep. Mammoth is a year-round resort town that offers world class skiing, ice skating, fishing, golfing, biking, and hiking, among many other activities. Yosemite National Park, Mono Lake, and Bodie (ghost town) are all within a one hour drive, making for a perfect scenic day trip. In the winter, the Village takes to the slopes of Mammoth Mountain with 3,500 skiable acres, an average of 400 inches of snow and 300 sunny days per year. Condo was huge, even bigger than the pictures conveyed. Lots of space for our 2 families to spread out and enjoy ourselves. Great touches throughout like tons of hooks for coats, hats, cubbies for helmets and winter gear. Kitchen is extremely well-stocked with more spices, condiments, and even hot chocolate and ingredients for s'mores! Bathrooms are also well-stocked. Property management is extremely responsive and your needs are taken care of almost immediately. Clean, perfect location for skiing/snowboarding, and a lovely view of New Year's Eve fireworks in the Village. Can't say enough great things about this place. Would absolutely stay again!

Came up to Mammoth to celebrate my birthday with a group of 10 adults. We had a great time. This unit was very well equipped with what you need to have a comfortable stay. It has an awesome balcony view overlooking the main village gondola and this weekend it was extra special to have the stage and DJ that was set up for the holiday night of lights event just below. Beds were comfy with lots of extra blankets and an air mattress. Hosts were quick and responsive to any questions we had. The biggest challenge of this stay is the parking as you only receive one pass for the condo garage. I would stay again! Thank you!

This place is big with three bedrooms and three baths. Very nicely appointed. Perfect if you need a no stairs option for a senior. Parking is the only problem. One pass for the unit. There is free street parking across from the garage entrance, but there are limited spots. Don’t let this discourage you. Just get a little creative.

Comfortable, very good condition, well-appointed, plenty of kitchen items. Convenient location and great views. Two negatives--a very long way from the one elevator and garage, and as in many such rentals, the A/V equipment and instructions were beyond our ability to decipher.

We were amazed at the ideal location of this condo which was right in the village directly across from the gondola. The shuttle for the main mountain was right across the street, so we never had to use our car once we parked on day one. In the condo, the balcony gave us an incredible view and the space itself was ideal. We had 3 young boys with us who LOVED the bunk bed room and the added little touches (s'mores) were appreciated. We had the most wonderful time and would absolutely go back!

The property rental company was very responsive to all our needs and questions. Appreciated all the extras like pool towels, spices, cookware, humidifiers and games. Also since we were able to sign into streaming services on the TV, the cable outage wasn’t a problem.

Great spot. Would rent again. Two things that were not as awesome as they could be: To get parking garage access you have to do a scavenger hunt to the Chevron station to pick up a keycard. Also, there is only one garage parking space. It seems like for a condo of this capacity there would be two parking spots available.

The property is conveniently located in the village, which is great for dining & shopping options, but be prepared for some late night noise. The condo itself is so much more beautifully decorated than any hotel room or even rental home, it truly feels like "home" from the moment you walk in. Not only do they provide you extensive seasonings, coffee & tea, they keep a well-stocked fridge of condiments to dress up any meals that you could make in their well equipped kitchen. Unlike many other rentals, they not only stock you with paper towels and extra t.p., the have practically a dozen boxes of tissues throughout the home to take care of any sniffles you catch from the slopes. As if that weren't enough, you are welcomed with a basket of popcorn, hot cocoa and a s'mores kit! Communication with the management company is EXCELLENT and I couldn't be more pleased! Exceptional service at an exceptional property, will definitely book again!

The condo was great, very roomy, and right in the center of the Village looking down on the stage and the Gondola. Saw the tree lighting and concert from the balcony over Thanksgiving weekend. No need to drive anywhere. Steps to the Gondola up to Canyon. Great stay.

We had a delightful stay at the penthouse. It has a view directly out onto the gondola to Canyon Lodge and the adjacent plaza below. We arrived on a Friday night and watched the preparations for a big event on Saturday. This turned out to be the Gran Fondo bicycle race. We had a front row balcony seat to the start and finish of three separate races that day.
The penthouse is beautifully furnished and fully equipped. It has three bedrooms and bathrooms with a very large great room containing the kitchen, dining, and living room. The great room opens out onto a small balcony with double doors that can be opened to provide ample fresh air inside. The location is impossible to beat. It is located in The Villages, which houses shops, restaurants and a micro-brewery, and has a large pool, jacuzzis, and outdoor games, such as ping pong and beanbag toss. Guests have full access to the pool, jacuzzis, and games. Further afield one can rent bikes to explore the neighborhood, play disc golf, hike, fish, and enjoy the amazing mountain scenery. The unit comes with a single parking space in the garage below. This might be a problem for a larger party with more than one car. A solution would be to park one vehicle off-site. The nearby RV park is a suggestion. The unit has a choice of two Wi-Fi networks. We found both to be slow, although cellular speeds were quite good in the area.
This would be a prime spot to stay in the winter for skiing. The access to the gondola could not be better. We were staying in the fall and it was quite pleasant. The unit has one air conditioner in the great room. On hot summer days this might not be adequate.
In summary, we had a great stay and would look forward to returning some time in the future.

Everything about our stay was pretty much perfect! The location is amazing, you are in the heart of the village, the pool is close by and the condo is just as pictured. They also have pretty much anything you could need, including s’mores and humidifiers.
The only thing I would change if I could is the parking. Only one spot is provided for a property that sleeps 10 people, so if you’re like us you have 2 cars to park. Other than that like I highly recommend renting this condo.

Mammoth Village Penthouse - Amazing!!
Beautiful penthouse was clean and nicely decorated. The kitchen was stocked with all kinds of pots, pans, dishes, and utensils. Plus, a nicely stocked spice rack too! We were just an elevator ride down to the pool, jacuzzi, restaurants, and more. I definitely recommend this unit to anyone looking to stay in the village.
