Tyrolea Lodge - Perfect For Large Groups
About this cabin rental
Nestled in Gatlinburg, this attractive cabin for $662 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Huge cabin set up for large family reunions, church groups, sporting teams, wedding parties, or business teams. Tyrolea Lodge has plenty of room to accommodate you. We are limited to providing beds for 16 people, but there is plenty of floor space for sleeping bags or air mattresses. We do have a hard limit of 25 people. Three separate decks including a covered three season living/dining area and lots of outdoor space allow you to spread out. The cabin is close to the main clubhouse with a pool which is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Clubhouse access is included in the rental. The clubhouse is also available for rental for meetings, parties, weddings, etc at a very reasonable price. Cabin includes 5 bedrooms, four bathrooms, kitchen, living room, dining room, large game room, laundry room, and sauna. Outside includes large yard, sun porch with living and dining areas, large hot tub, fire pit area, and large parking area. We are limited to 24 photos so there is so much more not shown. Bedroom 1 King memory foam bed, updated flooring and lighting. Bedroom 2 King memory foam bed, updated flooring and lighting. Bedrooms 1 and 2 share a bathroom. Bedroom 3 is a loft bedroom with a queen bed and en suite bathroom . Bedroom 4 is a large bedroom with a queen and a king bed and en suite bathroom. Updated flooring Bedroom 5 is a huge bedroom with queen bed, and two queen sofa beds and living room chair. All bedrooms have 40" or larger Vizio Smart TVs with DirecTV and have an external HDMI port for your own devices. Dining room has a large table that seats at least 10. There is a second breakfast table that seats 4 and seating at the kitchen bar for 2. There is also seating on the front deck 4 in good weather. The Back sun deck has seating for 6. The living room has two large couches and two additional swivel rocker recliners. There is a wet bar with beverage refrigerator. Bar can also be used as serving table for dining room. The kitchen is fully equipped with all large and small appliances and has a huge granite counter top. The game room includes pool table, Foosball table, basketball shooting, card table, and sectional sofa. There is a 65" Vizio smart television with DirectTV. There is a small deck off the game room. Rear sun deck includes dining table, sectional sofa and bar table. There is a large 6 to 8 person hot tub outside the sun deck. There is a large gas grill off of the rear deck. There is also a cozy outdoor patio that has a fire pit and seating for 6. Large parking area that can accommodate at least six vehicles. Please Note: the point where the driveway meets the main road is a very steep angle. Cars that are very low to the ground may drag at this point. Also, vans and buses with long rear wheel overhang may drag.

We had a youth group trip to Gatlinburg with our church, and we enjoyed our stay. We weren't able to park our church bus up the driveway, but we were still given another option to park it by the owner of this property. Overall, we all enjoyed it.

The property was beautiful. Follow the owner's directions on how to get to the property. The kids loved the game room. Very open space for all to gather in living room and play Christmas family games. Parking garage is private so they are not available however we parked 3 pickup trucks and 1 large suv without any hassle. Very close to Gatlinburg yet away from the town as well. Great location to get quiet but run into Gatlinburg within minutes!

The experience was awesome! The house was beautiful and comfortable. The instructions were clear on how to check in and out. Also, the manager gave us clear instructions on how to avoid getting lost. The Christmas decorations made our stay more lovely.
I only have 2 recommendations: 1.- The queen bed in the bedroom with the inside bath and with another King bed was very uncomfortable and make a loud sound every time my mom moved. It wasn't until the third day that we noticed, that it looked like the middle part was all bent. I suggest changing the bed or maybe just the box or frame.
2.- The doors make some sound when closing and opening, maybe just add some oil.

I Love the Property is big is plenty of rooms i have 20 people including kids game room is big rooms i love the kitchen is open is very good for family and friends gathering
the only thing i will say is if you love mountains you will be ok driving but people don't like mountains or afraid on height they might not like it but Carol & Tim they are wonderful given us good direction to the cabin and quick response on my msg Cabin very nice i will recommend to anyone for big family gathering thank you carol & Tim for being a good host.

The cabin is perfect for a large family. Seen bear everyday passing through. Cabin owners went above and beyond accommodating our stay, answering question immediately, updating us on local events and coming over to show light switches we couldn't find (btw- look in hall closet for outdoor lights). S. Baden pool staff are 2nd to none friendly, accommodating , even shipping a hat that was left at the pool.

This was a perfect place for my husband and I to plan a weekend away with all of our kids and grandkids. We had 18 people and everyone had plenty of room and enjoyed it so much! Highly recommend!

Really great for our family of 20! Ample space, seating, and amenities. Love the screened in back porch. So much to say, but I’ll keep it short. The owner/property manager was easy to contact and very responsive. During our three night stay we saw half a dozen bears in the area, to include three bear cubs. Conveniently located to all of the local attractions. Would definitely rent again!

This is a great property to stay at. Lots of room in the house so you didn’t feel like you were on top of each other. Plenty of room for my family of 4, my sister’s family of 6, my Dad and Step-mom, and grandmother. Beautiful area and we saw a bear right out the back covered patio! Just to note that the driveway is a little steep, but able to get up and down it with no problems.

We booked this place over a year ago. The host kindly communicated with us to see if we put in the dates incorrectly. This is customer service A+++ service. This place is nice and quiet. Neighbors are close by but we rarely see or hear them. You can see bears sometimes during dusk and morning. Overall, great place, a great host, and clean.

The cabin was perfect for our family and was beautifully decorated for Christmas. The rooms were more spacious than they appeared online and the kids loved the large game room. Tim and Carol were very accommodating and responsive. We really enjoyed our stay!

Only complaint/observation........not as private as we would have wished, other cabins were very close and in view from all sides of our rental. I can only assume/hope, once the leaves come in you would have more of the ambience of staying in a cabin in the mountains should have. Everything else was good.

Loved the location and the size of this cabin! The rooms were very spacious and the beds were comfortable! It was also very clean. We seen Bears everyday of our stay which was a plus! We used the sauna which worked great! The only slight issue was that the hot tub didn’t get as hot as we would have liked. Would definitely Stay here again though!

The house fit all of us comfortably. The hot tub and the back porch were a huge hit for all of us. The biggest hit was watching the bears roam the property. We will definitely come back again.

I know you warned about bear activity but we all felt we could not even go outside and enjoy property - bears were there constantly - cars locked and no food outside - we tried to take family pictures and bear showed up!!!

Great Getaway
The whole house is amazing. The rooms are all good sized. The teenagers loved the game room. We spent enjoyable evenings on the screened in porch and hot tub. Beds were all comfortable. We would choose this lodge again.

We all enjoyed our stay. New experiences for all were the mountain stay and the bears. The location was great as it was close to the park and a little less busy part of Gatlinburg. The lodge had everything: rooms, equipped kitchen, hot tub, grill, covered and screened deck, and fire pit. We left a note concerning a few observations. Thank you for the great stay.

4 generation celebration
Perfect in all respects for our needs. Plenty of room to give each family personal space. If we were able to do this adventure again, would try to stay in same house. Our ages are from 6 months to 77 years. Only downside was the driveway. A little steep for flatlanders.

Family vacation at Tyrolea lodge
This was our first blended family vacation and it was a HUGE success!! We had people ranging in ages from 7 to 82 and everyone has a good time! There were 12 of us and plenty of room to spread out but also a huge dining room table to be able to all eat together. The back deck/sun room was our common area to hang out and play dominoes, trivia, or just visit. The kids loved the game room and everyone enjoyed the hot tub and sauna. Property owners were great communicators and excellent hosts! I would definitely recommend!!! (A bonus was having the bears right at the cabin for the last day multiple times!)
