Nestled in Seaside, this lovely house for $415 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Steve's Getaway Steve's Getaway is the perfect beach headquarters for those with kids looking for a little extra space, with four bedrooms, three baths, and accommodations for ten guests. Located in south Seaside, this lovely vacation rental is only 150 feet from a public beach trail and only two blocks away from the Promenade. You can be downtown in ten minutes on a bike or a short walk that will take you to the golf course, grocery store and nearby restaurants. This three level, 2200 square foot home features knotty pine walls throughout with glimpses of the ocean from the living area and upstairs bedrooms. The main level features a large living and dining room that runs the full length of the home. Just off the kitchen is a spacious sun deck. Each of the two bedrooms on this floor is furnished with a queen bed. An additional two bedrooms and a bath are located upstairs. The larger bedroom has a queen bed and two twin beds, while the other room has two twin beds. There is a bathroom in the basement, along with a game room equipped with a pool table, air hockey, foosball, ping pong and a piano. Steve's Getaway also offers Wi-Fi. Come down to Seaside today, and relax in style and comfort at Steve's Getaway! This home is not pet friendly so please leave your pets at home, or make other arrangements for them. We had a great time in the house. The set up was different then I thought it would be but we made it work. It is an older home but was still pretty cozy. The walk to the beach was just a few minutes. Overall it was good.

We stayed over Thanksgiving and it was lovely and accommodating. The downside was the miss matched plates, silverware and glasses since the home is advertised for 10 people. There were 7 of us.
My 96 year old Father was able to join us. Has a wheel chair ramp. A lot of amenities in the home in case the weather is too bad to go outside. Enjoyed the fireplace. My family would go back.

A little disappointed to find that you have to walk through one bedroom to get to the other bedroom for both upstairs and main floor bedrooms. Both upstairs rooms did have access to the same bathroom but the main floor bedrooms did not. A little awkward in either case.
Home was clean with very nice big back deck with picnic tables etc. Within walking distance to beautiful beach!!
Neighbors were rude and most drove over speed limit past house.
I don’t think I would return to this home with adult friends and family but might be fine for a couple couples with children.

We had a very enjoyable and relaxing time here after finishing the Hood to Coast relay this year (8th year!) lots of space to relax and sleep post -race and a lovely patio with picnic tables to share a meal as a team. we had such a lovely time!

There isn't a Not Applicable selection so I gave them 5 stars on everything even though we didn't get to go. We had to cancel because with the cost of everything going up none of our party could make it work out. The good news is that we got half our money back so that made it so we could go to ........ oh wait.....no we didn't do anything and it still cost me $1500.

The kitchen had what we needed to fix meals, the large selection of games were perfect on the cold rainy days and the beds were comfy. The kitchen had what we needed to fix meals, the large selection of games were perfect on the cold rainy days and the beds were comfy. Someone came out right away to bring a gas can to us. There were some tiny bugs and management sent some spray for those. It is a great family rental. Lots of books to read and games to play. Beach is close but rocky walking g down to it

There were many good things about this property and a few pretty bad. Pros: Location, size of house, well stocked kitchen, plenty of towels and blankets, lots of books, games, and activities. Cons: filthy living and dining room floor, half eaten lollipops left on paper plate in kitchen cabinet, sagging Queen mattress in upstairs bedroom, used tampon on shower ledge in upstairs bathroom. I was pretty disturbed when I found the used tampon in the shower. Not sure how the cleaners could have missed it if they really cleaned the entire shower. I think we might have considered staying again even with the other issues but that was sort of a deal breaker. Overall it was a good trip but after what we paid for four nights we did expect it to be cleaner.

What a charming beach house, in close proximity to the ocean. We walked to the beach several times. You can see and hear the ocean from the house. The sleeping situation is unique having to enter one queen bedroom through the other. That would have been more awkward had it not been family. The kids figured out the upstairs situation. The upstairs space is large and divided but not private still having to enter one space through the other.
We did voice one concern when we arrived regarding one of the locks. Management returned my call and left a message saying they would have it looked at when we left. Had a time starting the grill.
We liked amount of parking, 4 spaces, and the tables on the back deck. All said and done, we would stay again.

Us 7 girlfriends have been getting together every year since 1986. This was one of our top stays. The house was wonderful! It was close to the beach, clean, and comfortable. Very good location. There was plenty of room for all of us. The deck was great. Especially since the sun was out most of the time. The only problem we had was the TV. It took a couple days to get a new TV because the one that was there didn't work, but the property management was great in letting us know what was going on at each step, and solved the problem quickly. Yay Scott!!
We as women would recommend a half curtain in the main floor bathroom window. Although the glass is somewhat frosted you could see through pretty good from outside when is was dark. We had a blast and hated to leave. We also lucked out on the weather. It was beautiful.
