FANTASTICA

La situació és molt cèntrica, pots anar caminant a tot arreu. L'habitació és espaiosa i molt còmode. Hi ha zona d'aparcament propera. El personal és molt amable.

A great place to stay for a short trip to Ciutadella.

We stayed in room 1 on the ground floor. It was light, airy and very spacious. Very tasteful and modern decor and all furniture looked almost new. There was a pretty courtyard area with table and chairs which was handy for remote working. The location is very central, just a couple of minutes walk away from the port with plenty of shops and restaurants. The room was cleaned each day despite us only staying for 3 nights. Access to the building and room was via code on the day of check in. Detailed instructions were received via WhatsApp on the day of arrival including numerous suggestions for nearby parking. We would happily stay again.

The downside of being on the ground floor was hearing people coming in and out of the building and in the reception area. It wasn’t a huge problem.

Central Ciutadella Hotel without Front Desk

Hotel is located in central Ciutadella, in a shopping street, around 5 min walking distance to the port area and downtown.

1) no front desk, auto check in after 13h30 2) no breakfast on Tuesday from Nov. 1st and H refunded EUR 10 for 2 pax as compensation, nevertheless, the information was not published by hotelier on Booking.com and was not notified to guest until the same check in date. 3) additional eco tax upon arrival, this information should be listed on Fine Print. 4) 2 rooms per floor except the ground floor, very thin wall, no sound-proof at all, you can hear almost everything from the other room on the same floor.

Hotel Boutique Ses 5 Claus was a total disappointment!

The only positive comments I can give are the location, air conditioning, and small fridge in the room.

In booking a “boutique hotel“ I expect personal service. This hotel was the complete opposite! When I made the booking, I checked for hotels with parking. We needed this option because my husband has serious knee problems. The description on Booking.com indicated parking, which we thought meant near the hotel. However, there was no parking close by or a dedicated space in front of the hotel to unload our bags. We finally found a city parking space, which required a 10 minute walk to the hotel with our roller bags. Another misleading description on Booking was: “24 hour front desk”. In a text they said they would be in the hotel only from 10:00- 2:00. That was not the case. We arrived exactly at check in time 1:30, and no one was there. We had to check ourselves into the hotel and the room with a keypad. Not a staff person in sight and not a pleasant introduction to this hotel! In the two days we stayed, we received no “in person” greeting from anyone or any assistance with our visit in Ciutadella, not even a city map. There was never an email or Booking communication. Every communication was sent to me via What’s App!! Who are these hosts? Or were we communicating with AI?? I never received a name of a person, even on the hotel business card at the front desk. Thankfully, I’m a techie, but if you aren’t, this hotel would be a major problem. Other negatives are: poor, inadequate bedding, the safe didn’t work, and the small patio was noisy and confining with Air-con noise. Hotel Boutique Ses 5 Claus was totally unacceptable for us! We’ve traveled the world, and this was the most sterile hotel experience we have ever had. It was certainly not worth the price.

Perfect boutique Hotel.

Great little Hotel, great location lovely room no complaints at all. Breakfast in the cafe at the square was really good with very helpful staff.

Poor breakfast, served in a bar nearby. Besides the room door, room doesn't have a alternative way out who turns the room Into a "jail" in case of an emergency

Good enough

Loved that there was no reception. We just arrived after texting a photo of passports and got the codes for the doors. Super easy. The rooms were simple. Bathrooms are nice. Had an issue with clean towel replacements, had to kinda make a fuss to get new ones which was annoying after a day at the beach. Breakfast was at a cafe about a minute walk away and was basic but nice enough.

Slight smell in the room. Breakfast didn’t match the hotel vibe. No full length mirror. Cheap plastic glasses in the room.

Lovely boutique hotel centrally located in Ciutadella

Lots to like about this boutique hotel - overall had a very enjoyable stay and very glad we decided to stay in Ciutadella, at a reasonable price point during high season (July)! - Location: excellent location, steps away from Placa dels Pins where there are loads of great food options. Easy access to the old city as well. - Breakfast: due to Covid, breakfast was not served on the property and we were given vouchers to use at the nearby La Menorquina restaurant at Placa dels Pins. Breakfast was generously portioned (we were always so full!) and consisted of a coffee, fresh orange juice, pastry, and a boccadillo, served al fresco. - Coffee machine: Communal dolce gusto espresso machine for use on the ground floor was great for a morning caffeine fix, alongside small bread snacks - Responsive staff to messages: Mostly communicated via the booking.com app and they were pretty responsive; most queries were answered within a few hours and they sent detailed instructions for arrival. Given the small size of the property (5 rooms) staff were not always on site. - Shower: wet room style shower which was very spacious. Great water pressure and temperature!

- Wifi: we were staying in one of the rooms on the 2nd floor and the wifi wasn't great - it struggled to stay connected to most of our devices most of the time. Things that weren't dislikes but may be helpful to note for others: - Bathroom door: Had read in previous reviews that they had a curtain act as a bathroom door, but we had a proper sliding door which was nice. Would be helpful to have a fan in the bathroom to help suck out some of the hot water moisture. - Stairs: we were able-bodied people so the stairs weren't a big problem, but they are narrow in places and it's not the easiest dragging luggage up and down them (especially if you have anything larger than carry-on size bags).

Good value and a perfect location

The location is perfect - right in the centre but not too loud. We hardly saw any staff but everything was explained to us clearly and very straightforward. Our room was huge and had everything we needed!

Wonderful location! Easy checking in! Super clean and very nice decor. If you wanna be in the old town part and be close to everything on foot, this is your place!

Parking was hard to find but once you know your way around town it gets easier:)

There is no door to the toilet only the curtain, what a shame...
