The hotel was small and basic but exactly what we needed. The price was most competitive and the room was more than adequate for our needs. The air conditioning was excellent and very quiet in our room overnight. Breakfast was basic but more than adequate. Staff were most helpful, for example, providing additional towels to allow us to shower in a friends room prior to departure.
There was a lot of noise outside our room early on our last morning due to road resurfacing work. We should have been warned about this by the hotel.

Unique room very big and atmospheric
When i realised ten minutes after booking that I had put the wrong dates in (for that same night and next) and asked them to move the dates to the followign nights they charged me full rate regardless. Staff were pleasant but would be good to be a bit more flexible

Location is fantastic and the rooms are quiet. Breakfast is very good
The fridge did not work without offer to remedy and the air-conditioning was inadequate making it very hot sleeping on the mezzanine. Apart from one staff member on reception and the lovely breakfast time, we found the others to be surely and unhelpful. The plumbing needs serious attention ion both in the rooms and in the disabled lavatory in the reception area.
