Great location, great option with the brunch till 13:30, everynight good entertainment, very clean
The check in was a really bad experience, we paid for 3 adults inly 2 beds were ready, some hotel policy has prevented them to prepare the sofa bed, the door lock was not working, after 2 hours(we were already unpacked and sofa bed prepared) they offer a new room, the boldhead receptionist was really without any understanding and made our first night really unpleasant, luckily everything has comesate for the rest of the vacation to be very nice

Excellent location, not far from the beach, easily walkable down a small hill or up steps. Pool area great for kids, clean and not too hectic. Brunch until 1:30pm was brilliant and the quality of food/choice we thought was very good, lots of healthy options too. I’ve heard others complain there was too much beige food, well yes there is beige food but there are plenty of vegetables and fruit too!
Staff very helpful, nothing too much trouble.
The apartment was great, and clean. The beds on the lounge are pull out drawers so something to be mindful of if you have mobility issues, they’re on wheels so can move but we found them very comfortable.
We didn’t sample the evening entertainment as we have 3 small children but it was noisy, if you’re wanting to sleep, I’d suggest asking for an apartment as far away from the bar area has possible!
Overall we were very happy and had a great time! Excellent value for money with breakfast and lunch included.
Leaving - and the music was quite loud at times but that’s typical of these types of properties.

we asked for a spcific room and got the one next door, this was excellent and we were really grateful. The pool bar (and food) was excellent and really good value for money.
Although we were only staying for 3 nights it would have been good to get fresh towels on the 2nd day. Not a massive big deal and I know if I'd asked they would have sorted us out.

It is easy to see why this is a 3 star establishment and not 4 stars. On first look, it semmes like a 4 star facility.
The good: mostly very clean and tidy, although some areas, such as around the toilet roll holder and grout, had not been cleaned for a while. The floor was never swept and the patio had dust, dirt, cigarette buts and a beach towel from previous occupants.
Otherwise, it was very clean.
Pool was good and my little girl enjoyed the slide.
Both of my children appreciated the playpark.
The bar was well stocked and drinks were reasonable priced.
The magic show was very entertaining.
The shower is very powerful and there is plentiful supply of hot water.
The first thing to mention is the bed. It was absolutely rock hard. After 2 sleepless nights, I went to the reception and was told all the mattresses were new and that someone would come to the apartment at 7am the next day to see if they could swap it for an old mattress. I waited and nobody came.
When I returned to reception to ask again, I was greeted with a shrug of the shoulders and "nothing we can do". I sleep at home on an extra firm orthopaedic mattress, so am very accustomed to a firm mattress. However, it was impossible to sleep on and I had to sleep on the bed settee.
The bed settee is not fit for adults. It is not a pull out bed settee in the traditional sense. The guest is supposed to take the 2 cushions off of the settee and sleep on the top part. It is very narrow and impossible for adults to turn much.
The bottom part is a small pullout child's bed
Again, this is not suitable for an adult.
We left the sign on the door for the room to be cleaned one day, but nobody came. Another day, the same thing happened and I called reception. I was told they could come up to 3pm and there was almost an hour left. They duly came, but did not make the bed settee. The simply folded the blankets.
You can hear all the plumbing in the surrounding apartments. There is an endless gushing of showers and toilets.
Day and night, staff are passing with very noisy trolleys loaded with rubbish, dishes, linen etc, including very late at night. They trundle like trains.
One night, a group of men were shouting, drinking and carrying on around the pool. By 4.20am, after almost 2 hours of waiting for them to go to bed, I called reception. The night manager had to clap his hands very loudly and shout to be heard. Although they stopped shouting and screaming, they were still very loud and it was another 40 minutes before they left.
A noisy place with disinterested staff. Too many better options to choose instead.
