Definitely for an older English clientele . No topless thonged body beautiful’s around the pool or lane swimming 🤣. Water a tiny bit cooler than the sea . You v soon get used to it. Pool has a chair seat for lowering into pool which I thought helpful for walking difficulties. Clean rooms. Massive bath sheets ! Handy night light switch in bathroom ( no need to wake anyone with blaring lights) Small drying rack on balcony ( towels not allowed to drape over railings but I took my own mini washing line & pegs) Amazing views from balcony,day & night. Breakfast was delicious. Cocktails huge 🤭. Staff and guests alike all friendly & helpful. Good vibes all round. Many guests seem to return year after year. We will also be back ❤️.
Wondered at first if the air conditioning was set a bit too high at 21 but so long as you close the door when in & out of balcony it was fine. Husband even got nippy at night.( blankets provided in room)

Another great stay at San Matias adults only hotel in Palmonova.
The rooms are clean with beautiful views. The hotel staff especially the bar and front desk folks are very friendly.
The entertainment though seems to be inconsistent, with some really good and fun days and then some days where it’s not up to par. Overall a very good hotel that deserves its 4 star rating.

The location was really good! Sea view was lovely and rooms were always clean and modern!
The pool area was small and the older generation was queueing up for over half an hour before the pool opened just to get a sunbed! carnage! the breakfast was basic and even the some of the food on offer wasn’t the nicest quality. we paid for b&b and only used it the once and paid to eat out after that. the entertainment was again aimed for the older generation. The location was perfect for us and if your using it as a base with a nice clean hotel room then its ideal!
