Very friendly staff, accommodating our needs, questions and even offered to carry our luggage for us
Very good location, far enough from the center to be quiet, but close enough to access everything quickly. There's even bus stops a few steps from the entrance.
Very comfortable matress/pillows.
Great verity of toiletries, plenty of towels, robes and slippers
Great lighting in the entire room, including the blue mood lights in the bathroom
Loved the welcoming biscuits, tea/coffee/milk corner.
There were literally 77 steps to our room. 83 including the exterior steps. That's because we got the very top room. There was no mention in the ad about a lift (or the lack of)
We got a very poor view, towards the back of the hotel/rooftops
The TV was tiny for the distance from the bed. It needs to be either closer or bigger.
The bathroom was nice but very cramped. The sink knobs are perfectly round so if your hands are wet or soapy, you have no chance of turning the taps on or off. Also the shower temperature knob was very difficult to adjust. Either scolding hot or cold.
The room was also dusty at points. Like on top of the TV and the overhead lamps.
The price seemed decent for the rooms we saw in the pictures, but the one we got seemed like the spare room for when everything else is booked. (they did offer to move us, if there was something else available)

Absolutely fantastic location, great views, kind and friendly staff.
Stairs to the top floor difficult. Size of the room and amenities considering the price weren’t amazing.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Good location, walking distance to most places.
The toilet was a tiny wet room, i.e., combined shower, toilet and sink. The sink was tiny (half-sized). The toilet is also in the wet room so if you want to use the toilet after someone has taken a shower, you have to step into the wet floor. Honestly, I couldn't believe that that was the bathroom in a four star hotel. The hotel doesn't have lifts, which is fine but the stairs at the top were very narrow and tall, which made it a difficult climb. My dog had trouble getting up and down.
